I just received my box…got Rainforest of the Sea Vol III, Ofra miami fever…awful color, taycha sheet masks, briogeo, billion dollar brows pencil. I love boxy, but this is easily the worst box I’ve gotten.

I watched an unboxing of this variation, 3, and she had a Dr. Brandt product, as well. She had 6 items. Mine is #1 and I have 5 and this is a lame box.

I just received my spoiler email and Im super excited to be getting Vol III, shockingly it’s the one I wanted! It showed tatcha sheet masks and a grayed out bullet lipstick…but that could be any lippy. I love Bite though, so hopefully!!

I really am opened to any brand. I feel you need to be flexible a little since it is a sub box. My problem is I always get these crazy lip colors that I can’t wear. I got hot pink and Brown’s and it’s just annoying at times but I’ll just find someone to gift it too if I get a wild unwearable color.

I agree. I would love to get Items based on my profile that’s why we filled it out. Some of the colors are just not colors I gravitate towards. I go give them a chance but they are just not for me wether it’s the quality or color. I’m really hoping for the palette I want.. the pink one is totally me.. keeping my fingers crossed 🤞🏻

Frankly I am sick of these boxes with the multiple variations. I would be okay with any of the Tarte palettes because they are all basically the same, and initially I was excited when I heard that we were getting a Bite lipstick because I love that brand and those lippie, but suddenly it’s the Bite, Ofra or something else. Whenever there are that many options and one is high end like Bite, only a VERY small percentage of charmers receive the nice/high end product and usually the boxes with the cheap products also have the other bad variations as well so the entire box ends up being garbage. The only reason why I keep my subscription at this point is so I can get Boxyluxe, but if February isn’t dramatically better than December was it won’t be worth it anymore either. I’m so over these disappointing boxes.

I’d be happy with any of the palettes but would prefer to not get the OFRA lippie (any other would be fine). Question though, so will there be one or two more products in this box or is this it?

Ofra liquid lipsticks are the best on the market, and trust me, I’ve tried them all.
In this box, there will be two ofra variations: one is Havana nights (collab shade with Kathleen lights, deep bold red) and I forgot the other shade but it’s nude brown with peachy honey tones.
The Bite Beauty variations include three colours: two reds (one of them very bright coral), and one rosey nude.

I agree with you on Ofra liquid lipsticks being great quality. The problem is when they send them in sub boxes they send really odd colors (and Ofra has some really “out there” colors). I have yet to receive a usable color in a sub box.

I ALWAYS get the nude and brown “wearable” shades and I despise them! Lol They really need to let us have some profile options so they know what colors to send to people…I want some hot pinks and purples or any bright fun color they can give me!

Verona that they sent last June is stunning. And now I found the perfect lip gloss to top it and make it look extra juicy (night star from Colourpop, the latest Kathleen Lights collab).

I agree I own at least 10 Ofra lipstick all of them look great. And out of all the ones I own I only got 1 in a sub box .

Yes, I truly freaking hate the variations. I’ve seen a countless number of people comment the same thing about hating variations under their social media posts, but they just keep ignoring us and doing them. I guess they must not be able to get enough of one product to cover every sub receiving one.

They lost me at “Ofra”. As far as I’m concerned, it’s a junky filler brand. I have several of their lip items from subs over the past year, and EVERY color is unusable. If they had kept it between Bite & Smith&Cult I would definitely be subscribing.

“junky filler brand”? lol Ofra is a very popular brand and I’ve heard more people than I can count say that their liquid lipstick formula and highlighter formula are top of the line, best on the market. I think the products from Realher and the stupid, too dry lipliners and eyeliners from unknown brands are filler products, but Ofra is too popular and too well known to be a junky filler brand.
This just made me a lot less excited. I love bite bullet lipsticks, and while the other two brands are nice, I’m not a fan of liquid lipstick formulas. My chances at a truly great box just dropped more than I’d like.

I agree. I only like/use liquid lipsticks in red. I can count on the fingers of my right hand how many times I put on red lipstick last year. So disapointing, I was really happy thinking that we were going to get a bullet lipstick for a change…

I like Bite Beauty, gotten a couple of Ofra in colors I can’t use, and don’t know Smith & Cult.
This is starting to push Boxy into “cancel” territory.

I am so really tired of OFRA. I have ALOT of their highlighters which are not BUT their lippies are NEVER good. Ive received close to 10 or 11 of them and they ALL have been thick and not good on the lips nor are the colors ever nice. PLEASE stop sending their lippies.

Looks like Ofra went through a packaging update. I actually like their formula. Unzipped is one of my favorites. I always prefer gloss, though. I LOVE the Bite formula. As long as the color is wearable, I’ll be happy.

Seriously, they sent out promo emails to former subscribers saying they were missing out on Bite. Not missing out on the possibility of getting Bite. That is false advertising, IMO. Boxy keeps doing this and I keep getting sucked back in, but if I cancel again it will be for good.

I bet more people get the Ofra lipstick, because of how often they are in the boxes. Personally, I’m not a fan. So many of their colors are unwearable for me and I don’t like liquid lipsticks to begin with.

Sometimes they’ll send an email giving you a peak at what one item you are getting. There’s shadows of the other items in the email that sometimes do and sometimes don’t match the shapes of the other variants you get.

Ummm nope..it’s luck of the draw my dear. Hope you get what you want though. I cancelled my sub to Boxycharm because of the variants. I just decided to put the money towards an item I really wanted and would use. Ipsy glam bag plus is the one I’m sticking with now.
