Here is the info sheet for the box.

My box was put together by Crystal. I think this is such a cute touch!

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - Marie Claire Velvet Matte Lip Crayon Open Front

Marie Claire Velvet Matte Lip Crayon in Aurora Red, Full-Size!

I am a bit confused with this- the font of the “Marie Claire” looks a lot like the Marie Claire magazine font, but I don’t think they have ever created a lip crayon (if they have, I cannot find it online). Based on some eBay listings I actually think this is a K-Beauty brand “inspired” by Marie Claire magazine, and they took a lot of, ahem, inspiration from the magazine. This lip crayon is creamy and very pigmented, and the shade Aurora Red is very bright.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - Nature Republic Aloe Vera Shower Gel Front

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Shower Gel, 5.07 oz – Retail Value $6.90

Nature Republic is known for making aloe vera skincare and body care products that are soothing and hydrating, and this shower gel is no exception. 90% of this shower cream is aloe vera, making it a great shower gel that won’t dry out your skin in these colder months.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - Dr. Jart+ Blue Label Hydrafull Blemish Base Top

Dr. Jart+ Blue Label Hydrafull Blemish Base – Buy the full-size version for $25.99

This BB cream from Dr. Jart+ isn’t readily available in the US compared to some of his other BB creams, which is a shame for my dry skin gals. This is formulated specifically for dry skin and is made with hyaluronic acid while also protecting from UVA/UVB rays.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - EGF 3R Solution Intensive Cream x 3 foil samples Top

EGF 3R Solution Intensive Cream x 3 foil samples

EGF stands for "epidermal growth factor" and it is a polypeptide (not a brand, like I originally thought) that allegedly stimulates skin growth and renewal. In skin care, this is great for anti-aging products. I am a bit frustrated that I cannot find ANYTHING about this brand (or even what the brand is) online, and I didn't really want to put it on my somewhat sensitive skin without knowing more about it.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - EGF 3R Solution Intensive Ampoule x 3 foil samples Top

EGF 3R Solution Intensive Ampoule x 3 foil samples

Sooni Pouch says this is supposed to promote collagen production while fixing hyperpigmentation, but I am still frustrated that the only ingredient I know in this product is EGF. I strongly believe Sooni Pouch needs to provide more information about these products if they're going to include products that are essentially impossible to find online, otherwise, I don't feel comfortable putting them on my skin. I even reached out to some of my online friends in South Korea about if they have ever heard of this brand or product, and even they couldn’t find any information about them.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - Tosowoong Premium Crystal Peeling Gel Front

Tosowoong Premium Crystal Peeling Gel – Buy the full-size version for $11. 46

This peeling gel is packed with fruit extracts and enzymes designed to exfoliate your skin without being too harsh. This also has denatured alcohol pretty high up on the ingredient list, so while it may be good as a gentle exfoliation it will also be good at sensitizing your skin and causing redness and inflammation.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - TonyMoly Eyelash Curler Packaged FrontSooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - TonyMoly Eyelash Curler 1 TopSooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - TonyMoly Eyelash Curler 2 Top

TonyMoly Eyelash Curler – Retail Value $3.90

My mom told me when I was a kid that if I curled my eyelashes wrong my eyeballs would fall out. When I told her this years later, she said she meant to say eyelashes, but the damage was done. This was comfortable to hold and use and I like that replacement pads were included, but I am genuinely at a loss for where I should put these pads so I don’t lose them.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - DewyTree Tea Tree Blemish Mask Top

DewyTree Tea Tree Blemish Mask

I love a good tea tree sheet mask and this one checked all of the boxes- it was soothing, gentle, and hydrating. It didn’t have a discernable scent and the mask itself was very thin, meaning it fit the contours of my face well but it also ripped when I was trying to unfold it.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - Tony Moly Pureness 100 Placenta Sheet Mask Top

Tony Moly Pureness 100 Placenta Sheet Mask – Estimated Value $4 (buy a 2-pack for $8)

I was wary when I saw that placenta was one of the masks included, but that mask is derived from plants and is mammal free! I liked how wide this mask was as it fit my face well. As expected, this was very cooling and soothing to my skin.

Sooni Mini Pouch November 2018 Review - A’Pieu Chika Poka Toothbrushing Mask Top

A’Pieu Chika Poka Toothbrushing Mask

I can’t find much about this sheet mask online, but I have tried A’pieu masks before and enjoy them. This is a sheet mask without a chin, so you can do functional things like brush your teeth while wearing them. I like the idea of wearing a sheet mask while getting ready for bed, but this mask did tend to slip a bit when I was wearing it standing up.

The Verdict:  I’ll be blunt - Sooni Mini Pouch did not put out a great box this month. The combination of so many foil samples with the inability to find most of the products was really frustrating. I would feel differently if Sooni Pouch provided more information about the products or an ingredient list because as it stands the included information sheet isn't very informative at all. This box is supposed to include 3-4 full-size or deluxe size samples with a retail value of over $60. They technically met that first promise by sending the shower gel, lip crayon, and eyelash curler, but I can assure you there is no way this box has a value over $60. This is usually the case for the Sooni Mini Pouch, but this month I am not even sure if this box was worth the $19.99 cost.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? No, I believe December boxes are now shipping.

Value Breakdown: This box costs $19.99 + free US shipping, which means that each of the 10 items (counting each foil sample set as one) in the box has an average cost of $1.99.

Your comment about your mom telling you when you were younger that your eyeballs would fall out if you curled your eyelashes wrong nearly made me fall over laughing!! It’s crazy the random stuff that we remember from childhood….. thanks for the laughs!! 😆

Thank you Jessica! I had been curious about this sub, and I’ll hold off for now. I love that you give honest reviews, not “this box was amazingly wonderful in ozone-layer-repairing ways and made me spew rainbows from every pore.” My only critique is that you did not include a photo of Duchess posing with the merchandise. Readers should be rewarded for reading! 🙂
