Nicely Noted November 2018 Review
This month there is a cute note from Nicely Noted's founder, Perry mentioning Thanksgiving and sharing a free downloadable place card link. On the back, there's an info card with details on each maker featured this month:
Now, on to the cards!
Cactus Card by And Here We Are Printing - Retail Value $5.00
Look at the cute cactus! I love the cheerful green envelope that came with this card and the heavy paper. It is also nice that the card is blank inside, meaning this could really be for any occasion. It is also cute enough to frame as a minimalist print if you don't feel like sharing.
Thank You Card by Bench Pressed - Retail Value $5.00
I am really terrible at sending thank you cards and mail in general, unless it is of the digital variety. This is a great all-around card to have on hand for when I do remember to express my gratitude through more traditional methods. This card is also super minimal and feels great in your hands because of the thick paper. The kraft envelope is a nice touch too!
Cake Birthday Card by Butter Paper Co. - Retail Value $5.50
Finally, we finish up with another fantastically textured letterpress card. I just love the little cakes and the pale grey envelope. I do have a close friend with a birthday coming up very soon, so it is nice to know I already have a really cute card for her!
Postage Stamps – Retail Value $1.50
Each Nicely Noted package always comes with stamps to send along with your cards. It is a great way to give your envelopes a special and unique look since these particular stamps are no longer in production.
Verdict: Nicely Noted is a wonderful subscription for those of us who love to send snail mail with personality or those of us who should be better about it (cough). I love that these cards are made by small and independent businesses and I also really appreciated that although this was a November themed month, none of these cards were about specifically Thanksgiving, fall leaves, ect. They can be used year round!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the December collection.

Value Breakdown: For $20, we got $17 worth of stamps and cards. For me personally, the $3 difference is absolutely worth supporting independent artists and always having a card on hand when I need one. It certainly saves me from my usual panicked run to Target last minute for that "perfect" card.
