This box came with a large card detailing all of the items included:

Now, on to the items!

Halcyon Days Maya Sport Watch – Retail Value $195

(Subscribers will either receive this watch or the Agama Sport Watch.)

This watch features gold metal accents and a single sub-dial on the face. The edges carry the signature Halcyon Days enamel pattern:

And the band is genuine black leather.

Here it is on:

I love gold accessories, and this watch feels like a such a classic design - it's one of my favorite Luxor box jewelry pieces to date!

And I'm wearing the snake ring from this box as well:

Robyn Rhodes Luxor Snake Ring – Retail Value $70

This gold snake ring features crystal eye accents.

The metal band is slightly adjustable, and it fit my size 7 finger perfectly with just a slight tightening.

I'm not sure if this piece will be a win for most subscribers, but personally, I love it!

Cloth & Paper Spiral Bound 2019 Planner - Retail Valure $39.90

This planner features a "pliable linen cover." AKA - it's softcover and a little flimsy. But I believe these planners are designed to be inserted into their leather agenda covers. Still a useful planner, but the cover materal surprised me at first.

This planner features a classic design and a weekly breakdown in addition to a monthly section for notes and important dates:

No calendar view of each month, though.

Cloth & Paper Message Pad with Gold Foil - Retail Value $12.90

I love gold foil anywhere I can get it, so these note cards are perfect for me!

And this is heavy, quality cardstock. (I'm not taking messages for anyone, but the message section is perfect for general notes.)

Cloth & Paper Sticky Notes - Retail Value $5

These sticky notes are like your basic post-it notes. Thin paper with a sticky backing.

Not as exciting as gold foil, but still useful!

Verdict: This box has a retail value of about $322.80. I think that value is good for a $139 luxe box, but I wish that 3 out of 5 items weren't Cloth & Paper. (Cloth & Paper is a great paper/design brand, but I would have liked to see a little more variety in the items.) That said, I love the style of this month's box. Black + gold plus classic lines = always a win for me. I love all the items in this box.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, this box is sold out. If you sign up today, it looks like your first box will be the January box.

Just got my January Luxor box. Only 4 items (supposed to be 5-7) and don’t feel that the value is there as the most expensive item is skincare related. Won’t spoil more, but unless there is a great spoiler for next box,I am out. The box has gone down significantly since they made the discount offer and though I still have the original rate given to initial subscribers, I am just not seeing the value. Did love the watch from last time and you won’t find anything comparable in this box.

I actually really like this months box (Jan) compared to the last 2 boxes. I’ll actually use everything this time.

I had the same thought about this box. For under $50 it’s a great price/box, but for over $100 (what many people paid who bought an annual sub before the crazy Gilt discount offered lady year)? Not so much. I actually loved the watch in the last box, and even the bracelet in the one before that, but this one was pretty blah.

I pulled up this review to see if anyone else had commented on the Jan box (I soooooooo miss the forum!). It’s not terrible by any means but not worth the full price I paid for it. Fingers crossed the next one is better.

I wish the forum was up again too! Even the hello site seems to have gotten rid of theirs. On a positive note I used the cream from the Jan box and woke up with beautiful skin this morning 🙂

I carefully avoided spoilers and I wrapped my box as soon as it came – in the unopened shipping box, to make sure I didn’t peak. I opened it yesterday morning only to find out that the watch wasn’t there!

Both the shipping box and the Luxor box looked undisturbed, the watch box was there, in its own box, but there was nothing inside it!!!!

I am hoping Luxor will make up for it and send me the watch, but it was a real disappointment in Christmas morning. The rest of the stuff was OK – I really liked the ring but it’s tiny! – but certainly not worth the price of the box without the watch.

Hey Luxor!!! I have been trying to get the tracking number for my missing November box from you for weeks! Why won’t your CS answer me? I’m sorry to air your dirty laundry in public, but I’d really like my November box. Please, please, please contact me. Please, please, please stop ignoring my emails. You just billed me for another year, so I know that my subscription never lapsed. My subscription email is r*******f*****@hotmail.com. I don’t think I need to give you more information as there are many emails from me that are sitting in the [email protected] that have not been answered.

For the record, Luxor finally got back to me! They were very nice and fixed everything. Thank you Luxor Box!

For the price I paid ($41) this box was great! I’m so happy. I would probably have been disappointed had I paid full price.

I’m very happy with the watch. The paper items are nice. I receive an agenda as a Christmas gift every year, so I don’t need this one. I am not a fan of the snake… not at all

I swapped and/or donated every item in this box. Hoping next box is better. Mays box was my favorite.

I really like everything that I received in my box, especially my snake ring, but I think it would have been perfect with one less Cloth and Paper item and the addition of a beautiful pen.

I agree the agenda and a pen would have been better than the other cloth and paper items. I liked my watch and the snake ring. I am not complaining.
