Fabletics VIP Membership Winter Fitness Clothing Review + Coupon – December 2018
Fabletics is a monthly fitness apparel subscription co-founded by Kate Hudson. You can shop Fabletics in two ways—you can shop the regular store, or you can sign up for their VIP membership. VIP memberships work like this:
- Take the Fabletics quiz, which will let the company know your size, style, and fitness needs.
- Each month, Fabletics will curate looks that match your preferences. According to the website, outfits start at $19.00 for new members. (I’m not sure if “new members” refers to just your first order, though.)
- Shop those looks at 40-50% off what you’d get just paying retail, or skip the month. You have to make your decision by the 5th of the month. If do neither, the $49.95 monthly membership fee will be saved to your account as a credit, which you can put towards other outfits later.
- As you shop, you’ll also earn points that can be applied to accessories and other cool fitness essentials.
The key takeaway here is that this subscription won’t automatically send you monthly packages like other services do. You have to hop into your account and either decide to add items to your card or skip it. Subscriptions can be canceled at any time, though you do have to call into Fabletics customer service to do it.

Fabletics VIP Membership Winter Workout Top, Leggings, & Teddy Bear Coat Review
I also got this booklet, which explains the different styles and products the subscription is known for.
Inhale Outfit, Size Medium Bra and Top, Size Large Leggings – Member Price $89.95
Unfortunately, it looks like this outfit is out of stock on the site! Usually, I look there to figure out how much the outfit goes for at retail, but I’ll have to stick to just the member price for now. I’ll try to estimate based on other items on the site what the value might be.
Kessler Medium Impact Sports Bra, Size Medium – Retail Value $44.95, Member Price $34.95
This outfit actually involves three pieces. I’ll get to the third in a moment. The first is this mauve sports bra, which is pretty simple through the front and unique in the back. (I like the pattern formed by the bands.) It’s comfortable, and I feel really securely held-in by its (89% Polyester/11% Elastane) fabric. There are removable pads in the front, but I like having them there for extra oomph.
Seamless High-Waisted Solid Legging in Charcoal Heather, Size Large – Retail Value $49.95, Member Price $39.95
These 92% Nylon/8% Elastane leggings are SO stretchy and SO form-fitting—they stay in place SO nicely and don’t shrug down in the least. I was surprised by how comfortable they were (not stuffy at all). And they move so nicely with my body, from the ankles all the way up to the super-high waist. They are a smidge long on me (I’m only 5’3″ so I’m used to leggings having a little extra fabric around the ankles), but because they bounce back so nicely, it’s not like there’s extra fabric in my way or anything!
Brisa Polar Fleece Hooded Jacket, Size Medium – Estimated Value $84.95, Estimated Member Price $64.95
This is the third item in the look that must’ve sold out, causing them to have to take the Inhale outfit combo down from the site. This teddy-bear-style hoodie jacket is suuuper cozy. The inside is lined in kind of a t-shirt material, while the outside is thick nubbly fabric that does a good job of keeping the cold out. In addition to just being warm on its own, this hoodie also has pockets and a hood for brisk winter-night walks between the spin studio and my car. The burgundy color feels trendy, too. They don’t offer it in this same color anymore, but there are similar jackets currently available in black and red.
The Verdict: This Fabletics outfit is so cozy! I’m bummed it’s not available on their site anymore, but I’m glad you can still pick up most of the items individually. The seamless leggings are my new faves—they just feel so effortless and really stick with my body rather than sliding down or scrunching around as I move or bend. And that coat is going to get a lot of use. I might wear it out and about, too, maybe with a few choice pins around the lapel!
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No! Sign up here to see what other outfits and similar styles are available. Remember, they add new looks to their catalog every month!
LIMITED TIME DEAL: New VIP members can use this link to get two bottoms for $24!
Value Breakdown: This three-piece outfit cost $89.95. Because it’s not on the site anymore, I can’t check out what the retail price will be. (My order history only referenced the member price!) But estimating based on the two individual item prices and the similar coat in a different color, I’m guessing the retail value would be around $179.85.
