Enchanted Crystal: Crystal of the Month November 2018 Review

First, you’ll see a greeting from Adam of Enchanted Crystal. Hi, Adam!

Next, there’s an info sheet all about the featured Stone of the Month: The Shaman Stone. I think they may have typo-ed the first mention of the name, because these stones are indeed shaman and not shamon, and the rest of the info spells it “shaman”. Regardless, I am so excited about this month’s specimen! Enchanted Crystal is one of my favorite mineral subscriptions because they send some of the most unique items.

Shaman Stone

This thing is SO cool. I have never actually seen one of these stones before, though I have read about them. This fantastic orb is completely naturally shaped and formed with a sandstone core and layers upon layers of iron. They tend to cluster across the desert in packs (this is actually true) and are the stuff of Hopi legend. These odd little round stones are also called “Moqui Marbles” and they are said to be left behind by spirits playing with them at night. These shades leave them to let the living know they are happy in the afterlife. This kind of thing is exactly why I adore this subscription. I always learn and experience something new!

Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well. This month I received three stones.

White Cat’s Eye

This tumbled stone doesn’t have that characteristic straight beam of light but is a pretty stone regardless. It was hard to capture in photos but it has little rainbow flakes scattered throughout. Thought to be a future seeing stone, it is cherished for its third eye enhancing properties.

Blue Quartz

I am loving this color. Blue quartz is said to enhance communication. Even if this stone does nothing I adore the beautiful blues on this piece

Aquamarine

The water stone! Aquamarine is useful for calming properties and connects us to the sea. It is a useful stone for a beautiful reminder to go with the flow, just like the waves of the ocean.

Verdict: Enchanted Crystal is one of my favorite subscriptions. It is so curated and thoughtful. The team behind this box could easily just send random super sparkling points, or crystals they know are trendy, popular, and look great on Instagram. Instead, they take the time to select truly unique and sometimes super weird things. They always make sure to send along very knowledgeable info sheet so you know how special your new pieces are. In addition to adding to my collection, I always learn something new from this sub.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but sign up today to receive January’s crystal of the month.

Sign up on or before the 5th of the month to get the current month’s box! All orders processed after the 5th will ship the following month. We ship between the 5th and 8th of each month.

Value Breakdown: For $16.00, I received four crystals making each cost $4.00 which I think is more than fair for this subscription.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

  1. I didn’t realize I commented so many times. That’s odd too.

    • Hey Lisa! Quite ok on the multiple posts. It happens! I wasn’t aware that this sub had variations, but I guess they do! It wouldn’t surprise me if they have limited amounts of certain things. Regardless, I hope you enjoyed yours! I love rose quartz.

  2. Hmm. I got a December box but these aren’t the specimens I received. I received a pretty rose Quartz point with Topaz, Lemurian and Tourmaline I believe. I’m still happy with the box (and yours) but any who,Great review!

  3. That’s odd. Although its a beautiful box and specimens, this is not what I got for my December box. I received a beautiful rose quartz point, Lemurian, tourmaline, I believe, and Topaz. I’m happy with my box but can’t help but be a little curious as to why I received what looks Like a totally different selection.🤷🏾‍♀️
    Great review as usual. Thanks.

  4. Hmm. This isn’t what I got for my December bucks. I received a rose quartz point with Kyanite, Lemurian and tourmaline, I believe. Anyway, all the stones looks beautiful as usual, great review!
