Bespoke Post 'Timber' Review

The 'Timber' Bespoke Post has 3 items - gloves, sage, and a wood tote - just what I had been looking for.

Each delivery arrives with an information card about the products.

Bunyan Log Carrier - Value $40-45?

I had been talking to Liz about getting this exact product for a few weeks - as soon as I gave up on searching for one in stores and online, Bespoke Post introduced it as an offer!

It's from Line of Trade, Bespoke Post's in-house brand, and as usual, it's high-quality. I've used this a few times already and will be using it all winter long. I love it.

Double-Quilted Cotton Canvas Gloves - Value $10?

It's always nice to use some gloves while gathering wood - so this is the perfect item to pair with the log carrier. They feel like a basic work glove, maybe a little softer to wear - but I don't really worry about that, they work as intended.

California White Sage Bundle - Value $5-10?

The last item is a sage bundle. You'll burn this in your fire to change the aroma. We tried this out, but I honestly didn't notice a huge difference, but could really smell the aroma when just smelling the bundle.

Verdict: The timing couldn't have been better for this box - I've been using the gloves and carrier for the past week weeks now and will never go back!

We received the carrier and gloves (either the same or similar) last year right before Winter and I have to say they were great! Our old carrier had some lining that was splitting & falling apart (after about a year and it was not inexpensive.) This one is sturdy and still in perfect shape and has a really nice look to it!
The gloves are soft but still help grip the wood without getting splinters. My hands are women’s medium- and they are large on me-but still work. I think they’d work for a lot of sizes (hubbys hands are size L, but there’s still more room).

Eric, could you please describe the fit of the gloves? I ordered this box as a Christmas present for my BIL and he’s 6’5″ with about XL sized hands. Thank you!!

I had room to spare – they felt like typical work gloves, I’m betting they can fit larger hands than mine easily – but I don’t have a great comparison for you.

First Great Review as Always.
But oh, I normally don’t say this about Bespoke as I typically think their items have value…..BUT this box is way over priced. Sturdier looking wood carriers whose straps go all the way around the bottom to the other strap (more support and longer lasting as you can carry more wood) sell of $25ish on Amazon, this one looks to be more in line with the $14 variety. Those gloves look to be poor quality and scratchy. I am actually surprised as normally I love their boxes. Sometimes I feel their prices can be inflated but the value is typically there for me to see. Hopefully this is not a trend. Fingers crossed.

Agree with you. I have been a BS subscriber for about 5 years. Have a couple dozen boxes I have bought and really enjoyed. I feel the value is going down. It could be box fatigue (on my part) . Who is the market for a firewood carrier? I know there are other boxes to select but they also see low value/not inspired. Originally, I thought I was being introduced to cool things (I have an awesome water proof jacket from them, great socks, cool jammie set, umbrella) but lately it seems like HomeGoods needs an outlet to unload stuff . I love this box but I have seen myself accepting their selections dwindle as months pass.

I am totally the market for a fire wood carrier. This was one that hit at the perfect time for me – so it’s actually one of my all-time favorites.
