Oui Fresh Hydrating Lip Gloss in Lava Lamp – Retail Value $18.00
Wow, this is a BOLD gloss! Normally I don’t go for their glosses (or any) but this one has SO MUCH pigment and strikes me as much more like a really shiny liquid lipstick. It also smells really sweet like candy. Since the color is so bold, it also works sort of like a stain. Finally, a lip gloss I can get behind! I just adore this bright red!
Organically Wonderful Dry Shampoo, 1 oz. – Retail Value $18.00
Another immediate win! I have really greasy hair, probably because it’s really thin and I wash it every day. I know, I know, I shouldn’t do that but I hate the in-between day where it’s so greasy it looks wet and after trying for a year I just couldn’t anymore. So every day washing it is so I have hair that looks slightly normal. That means I also try a lot of dry shampoo because even just looking at my bangs makes them greasy and stringy. This is basically powder in a pump which was startling at first when it came out but then I was on board right away. Not only did this soak up oil, but it also gave my hair volume and made it feel thicker, even the next day after using. Even better? It’s refillable! I have another dry shampoo powder that’s in a container with just some holes at the top, so I think this pump should work wonders with it.
Essential Rose Life Indulge Mood Oil, 0.34 oz. – Retail Value $25.00
I went straight to roll this on my wrists as a perfume oil. It uses jojoba seed oil and tocopherol vitamin E with essential oils of cardamom, rose geranium, black pepper, ginger, rose otto, vetiver to lift my mood and leave me smelling lovely. The scent is a really interesting blend that ends up being more floral than anything else. The roll-on makes it really easy to apply anywhere on my body and I can just plop this in my bag to keep on hand. There’s even a mantra on the label to help you channel good thoughts while you breathe this in.
HAN All Natural Cheek & Lip Tint in Cherry Cosmos, 0.20 oz. – Retail Value $16.00
Oui Fresh is knocking me out with the bold colors this month! Another vibrant red comes in the form of this cheek and lip tint that I am mad about! Like the gloss, this one is really pigmented too so a little goes a long way, especially on your cheeks. I am always into a dual-use makeup product and like this color on my pout as well as my face. Even though the stick is small and chubby, from experience with other cheek tints, I know this will last a long time!
Roots & Blooms Champagne Hangover Eye Gel, 0.50 oz. – Retail Value $? (Buy full size for $18.00)
I’ve been getting quite a few eye creams and oils recently but this gel is different in consistency as well as the fact that it’s to be left on for 10 minutes and then rinsed off. First of all- I can sympathize with the name of this since 1. I hate champagne because 2. it gives me horrible hangovers. I am prone to hangovers as it is, so I know that feeling of the morning after a long night. This gel smells wonderfully like cucumber which we all know if commonly used (usually in chilled slice form) to depuff eyes. They’ve noted that this gel can be stored in the fridge for 30 mins before using as an extra cooling sensation. In addition to the cucumber hydrosol, this eye gel also has vegetable glycerine, lychee extract, chamomile extract, hyaluronic acid, and preservative ECO. I’ll certainly be reaching for this one around the holidays this year.
*Since they don’t have a volume listed on their site for the $18 price point, I’m not sure how to value this one since it looks like different packaging that may be a smaller sample size.
Here’s a swatch of the amazing cheek & lip tint and lip gloss!
Verdict: The Oui Fresh Beauty Box this month really knocked me out with products I immediately loved! For $36.99 I received five items worth over $77.00! I was surprised how much I loved the gloss this month but the dry shampoo and cheek & lip tint were also strong items. Rounded out with the killer eye gel and mood oil, I think this is my fave Oui Fresh box yet.
