Nadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - Box Closed Top

Nadine West is a subscription styling service for women sizes small to 3X. Subscribers fill out a style quiz and are sent an outfit every month based on their style preferences. The best part is that there’s no styling fee—just a small shipping fee that is credited toward the cost of anything you keep.

This package was sent to us at no cost to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Nadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - All Products

The Subscription Box: Nadine West

The Cost: $9.78 is charged to your account when your package ships (to cover shipping) and that amount is put towards the cost of the items you keep. If you return everything, however, that amount is not refunded.

COUPON: Use referral code NADINE to waive shipping fees on your first box! That means you can get your first box totally risk-free, with no styling fee and no shipping fee (normally $9.78). You’ll pay only for items you decide to keep!

IMPORTANT NOTE: A while back, several readers expressed concern over the shipping charge of $9.78. Please note that this is a fairly recent increase! However, existing subscribers keep their previous rate, which I think was $6.50.

The Products: Each pink package will include 2-5 items. Typical combos include a shirt or scarf and a couple pieces of jewelry and other accessories.

Ships to: U.S.

Sun Goddess Necklace – Cost to Keep $21.99

This is the kind of statement necklace I can get behind! It’s really shiny! I like the shorter length, too, because it hits right below the neck and draws attention to the face. I really like it!

Skyfall Necklace – Cost to Keep $29.99

I love the stone on this necklace! It’s such a pretty marble effect. This necklace is so trendy and unusual! I’m just not sure about a pendant that close to my cleavage. I don’t really like to draw a lot of attention there. But it’s an awesome necklace, so I’m torn!

Distressed Droplet Earrings – Cost to Keep $15.99

Will I ever get tired of mixed metals? No, I don’t think so! Look at how pretty these are! I love the shape, too. I’m not 100% sold on the “distressed” aspect, they kind of just look really scratched up, though. To me, anyway. I really like them otherwise.

Nadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - Golde Tribe Earrings TopNadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - Golde Tribe Earrings On

Golde Tribe Earrings – Cost to Keep $14.98

These earrings are not really my style, but they are still very pretty. They are also surprisingly lightweight! I like how shiny they are, too. I have some earrings that are similar, but these are really nice! They also feel like they are higher quality than most earrings you might find at this retail price point.

Nadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - GJeniene Top OnNadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - GJeniene Top Closer

Jeniene Top – Cost to Keep $27.99

This is an unusual top. It’s a little small for me, and it hits at a weird place, so that kind of takes it off the table for me as a keeper. Having said that, I really like the style, the colors, and the pattern! It is a mixed synthetic blend fabric, and it’s also slightly sheer.

Nadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - Wavy Lace Capri Leggings Closer

Wavy Lace Capri Leggings – Cost to Keep $24.19

I’m sort of wondering if they sent me the wrong piece because these leggings do not match any of the adjectives in the description! These are nice basic black leggings, and I like the zipper detail near the waist. They are also nice and thick and opaque for the cooler months. The only thing I don’t love about them is that they are shiny. I am not a big fan of that look on me, personally.

Nadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - cardigan OnNadine West Subscription Box Review October 2018 - cardigan Pocket Closer

Cozy Cardi – Cost to Keep $33.49

I love this cardigan! This is easily my favorite piece in the box. I am getting into long cardigans these days, and this nice neutral gray color will go with almost anything. It’s a soft cotton knit, and the pockets just make it that much more awesome! It’s great!

The Verdict: I love Nadine West! This month was a mixture of hits and misses, but I am thrilled about my new gray cardigan! I am also really happy they have started sending more pieces. More pieces mean more choices! I think if you want to treat yourself to a styling service on a budget, Nadine West is the way to go! Their pieces are not always the highest quality, but they are consistently the least expensive.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every package is individually curated to match your unique style, so no, every package will be different.

COUPON: Use referral code NADINE to waive shipping fees on your first box! That means you can get your first box totally risk-free, with no styling fee and no shipping fee (normally $9.78). You’ll pay only for items you decide to keep!

Value Breakdown: The items are valued at $168.62. To just try them on, it costs only $9.78 (which goes towards the cost of whatever you keep), and you can return whatever you don’t want. The average cost per piece is $24.09.

  1. Absolutely love Nadine West, these items look awesome! So much cheaper than Stitch Fix, great values, a great alternative. Like their customer service more than Stitchfix too.

  2. The cardi is tops!

  3. You got a lot of jewelry this time around, I usually only get two jewelry items. That’s fine by me though because I have only liked the clothing items they’ve sent me.

I love the cardigan you got! I left feedback on my last order that I prefer long cardigans, so I’m hoping I get something similar in a future month.

One thing I wanted to share with anyone thinking about trying Nadine West – customer service is solid. My last order had a bracelet that arrived with a crack in it. I emailed them to let them know so they could pull it from circulation when I returned it, and didn’t expect anything more. Instead, they sent me a really nice reply email thanking me for letting them know AND they gave me a $10 credit “for my trouble” even though I didn’t keep the bracelet!

  4. I love that cardigan and that the pockets look big enough to hold my phone or wallet. I might have to put this on my wishlist.

  5. I really love that cardigan and top! I got my first Nadine west package Saturday and ended up liking everything except 1 piece of jewelry. I didn’t expect to everything to be so on point for my style the first time. I did get 7 items. I agree that more items means more choices, and that was a good thing. I’m excited for next months.
