Enchanted Crystal November 2018 Crystal Info

Next, there's an info sheet all about the gorgeous featured Crystal of the Month: Brazilian Quartz.

Brazilian Quartz

I was so excited as I unwrapped the cute green bubble wrap because I felt points! This piece is beyond cool. For a crystal addict, something like this was a rare treat because it still had dirt on it! I know that is a very weird thing to be excited about, but so often my crystals come tumbled and shiny, perfect and gleaming. It is easy to forget that these crystals are born from the earth and they come to the surface dirty and raw. Quartz is one of my favorite stones because it comes in so many different colors and varieties. Clear Quartz is one of the most iconic and this stone is said to help with healing as well as being an incredibly clarifying stone. This Brazilian Quartz was pulled out of the Enchanted Crystal vaults this month and I am sure glad they did! I don't have anything like this in my collection.

Enchanted Crystal November 2018 Quartz Bonus Crystals

Enchanted Crystal always sends bonus crystals or minerals in a small bag as well. This month I received three greenish stones.

Black Onyx

Onyx is a protection stone. It is said to ward against negative energy and help strengthen emotional resolve. It is also a great stone for stress management. I like how this specimen is imperfect and earthy, which seems to be a trait of this subscription.

Red Dolomite

This color is intense! I am not super familiar with this stone, but I can tell you it is gorgeous. I love the veining and patterns. From what I have read on this stone it is used in energy balancing and the red and brown varieties are associated with the root chakra. I plan on doing further research on this one.

Nephrite Jade

There aren't many more stones more interesting to me than Jade. It takes my mind to far away and exotic places and treasured heirloom jewelry. While it comes in so many different colors, the best known would be the gorgeous greens that people immediately think of when you mention the stone. I have always wanted to collect jade bangles in different colors, but until I win the lottery I will have to make do with my ever-growing collection of tumbled pieces. This one makes a beautiful addition with the different shades of green and the super interesting pattern.

Verdict: This was my first review of Enchanted Crystal and I absolutely loved it! While I realize this is a subscription that is very specific and difficult to quantify in terms of value, if you are a rock-hound who appreciates thoughtful and surprising crystals arriving to you each month, it is an amazing choice. I really appreciate how earthy and raw these pieces feel and look forward to next month.

I love natural/vegan beauty products, Korean skincare, unique jewelry, and weird candies from far away places. When I am not waiting for my next exciting box you can find me painting or taking photographs of interesting people. I never leave home without pug hair somewhere on my shirt and a bold lipstick on my smile.

The red dolomite is rather intriguing. I’m going to delve into that crystal, too, because it’s not one that I am familiar with. It is so very pretty.

I am fond of it. I actually would love to source some beads! The color is just really rich and I love the veining.
