Cat Lady Box November 2018 Review
Cat Lady Box is always full of fun, cat-themed lifestyle items. Let’s see what was in store for November:
I love how the information cards have custom artwork every month. And the back has more information about the items in the box. This is a kitchen-themed box.
There was also a coupon for you to pass along to a friend.
Cat Spoon Rest – Listed Value $9.99
Although this was not a spoiler item, it was in the picture of one of the spoiler items and I hoped we’d get it. This is made from dishwasher-safe ceramic and it is pretty sturdy. We are already using this next to our stove.
Bread Slice Catnip Toy – Listed Value $4.99
This has some crinkly stuff inside and is a little big for tossing but my cats just like rubbing themselves on it, which is also just fine. (Sneaky, especially, does this, when she is waiting to be fed at night.)
Chef Hat Catnip Toy – Listed Value $4.99
This one is a little bit smaller and has a canvas-type of texture, which is something Monkey really tends to like. This one is good for tossing and I’m sure Angus will lose it somewhere pretty soon!
Cat Kitchen Utensils Set – Listed Value $19.99
This was a spoiler item for the month. Rather like the makeup brushes from a few months ago, these have kitty-shaped handles. They are silicone so they are heat-safe, plus they are also dishwasher-safe. There was no weird chemical smell when I took them out of the packaging, either. We already have like three spaghetti servers but this one has moved up to being my favorite.
Mod Cats Dish Towel Set – Listed Value $9.99
These are cute (they go with some glasses we got a few months ago). I will warn you, though, that the way the black one is folded when you receive it causes the graphics to stick together a bit. I was able to pull it apart without causing damage, and I suspect that will be less of a problem after washing.

Angus is out of his e-collar now. His GI issues haven’t quite cleared up, but he is improving. He was very curious while I was taking photos.

Monkey just wanted to rub his face on things. I suspect he will back to normal at the end of the week when we take the e-collar off.
Sneaky is so predictable. If It’s silicone or rubber, she’ll bite it.
Before you worry, Mr. Kitty’s eye looks all oily and drippy like that because we have him on some super-strength ointment to keep it from getting dry, but it is kind of messy to apply. The veterinary ophthalmologist says it is getting better.
Verdict: I calculated a value of $49.95 for the November 2018 (Crazy) Cat Lady Box. That is not the highest value I’ve ever seen for this subscription, but it is over the month-to-month cost of the box by about $10, and you can always use a coupon or buy a multi-month subscription to get a better deal. More importantly, though, the theme was fun and we received some items (like the spoon rest) that I don’t usually see in subscription boxes.
To Wrap Up:
Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Officially your subscription would start with December’s box, but way back when I signed up, I was contacted to say there were a few of the current month’s box left over and asked if I’d like one of those. So it may be worth inquiring.
