Bully Bundles is a monthly subscription that delivers a “bundle” of beef bully sticks to your door each month for your dog to enjoy.

These beef “bull” sticks are made from USDA and FDA approved, South American grass-fed, free-ranging cattle that are raised without the use of hormones or antibiotics. Bully sticks are 100% digestible, teeth-cleaning, long-lasting (I read some aggressive chewers can chew through these in several minutes, while others it takes days), they are super high in protein, and low in fat with no added ingredients.

There are multiple subscription options: 2 stick size options: 6” and 12” with varying bundle sizes and prices.

This is a review of the 12” bully sticks in a bundle of 5, which is $29.00 plus free shipping.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Bully Bundle - 12” Bully Sticks - Bundle of 5 Review

This is the first time this particular subscription has been reviewed by MSA, and boy were my pups happy that I get to be the one to do it!

While all of the pertinent information about the actual product is on the packaging, I like that they included a card with a fun recipe card to spice up your bully sticks! This month it was for “Pumpkin Spice Surprise on a Bully Stick.”  I just might whip these up for a special holiday snack for the boys!

12” Bully Sticks, Bundle of 5 sticks - Retail Value $30.00

They say a dog’s nose is up to 100,000 times better than humans, and I have seen that first-hand when our mailman dropped my Bully Bundles envelope off in the mailbox. I have a 12-year-old Labrador retriever and a 1-year-old Labrador retriever, and they never seem to notice when the mail comes. Today, even though our mailbox is 400 yards away from our house, and we were inside, they went crazy when he came! They must have known it was a snack for them! They left puddles of drool on the floor while they waited for me to take the photographs! That being said, both Scout, and Gunner are definite fans of the bully sticks.

Gunner (the 12-year-old pup) is very well trained and will let me put a treat on his nose and wait to eat it until I give him the okay. He always does great, but he was very excited about these, he still listened but the poor guy was shaking in anticipation!

I brought the dogs outside to let them chew on these for better photo quality, but after the pictures were taken, we went back inside and they laid on their beds and chewed, and chewed, and chewed.

I noticed these were in fact low-odor. The dogs are gated off into a special section of the house because Scout is a very aggressive chewer. After going in and out of the room, I noticed a strong dog breath and saliva smell, but no bully stick odor. Scout, chewed through his bully stick in about 45 minutes, while Gunner savored his for about 90 minutes. It was a great distraction for them since we had company over, so they didn’t sit at their gate and whine. I do want to add, the package states to be sure your dog has plenty of water available while eating these. I did notice both dogs were extra thirsty. They also recommend you keep an eye on your dog because they are not intended to be swallowed in large pieces.

The Verdict: I’m really impressed with the quality of these sticks. Honestly, I don’t think Bully Bundles could get any better. I’ve noticed when buying dog treats, any higher quality snack is higher priced, but when your dog isn’t just a dog and is a part of the family, they deserve the best! And I really feel these are top-notch. Reading the ingredient list really makes me feel like some people don’t even eat food this high quality! And I love the fact that these automatically come to your house monthly. One less thing to worry about!

Value-wise, this bundle retails for $30.00 including free shipping and the subscription costs $29.00 including free shipping. Although you break even by subscribing, there is a convenience factor in having the number of high-quality bully sticks you choose to arrive at your home each month.

1. A dogs’ sense of smell is so strong, its equivalent to humans being able to taste 1 teaspoon of sugar in 2 Olympic sized swimming pools.
2. Even though it warns that the bully sticks are not meant to be swallowed in large pieces, it is REALLY difficult for the dogs to do. They would essentially have to whittle them down to a “large piece” and then swallow what’s left. The great thing about bully sticks is just that. They do not break into “large (or small, for that matter) pieces”. They just whittle down as the dogs chew on them. Which makes them ideal for a teething/chewing puppy.

Cute pups. Watch though, we were educated that you should only allow your pup bully sticks from the USA or Brazil.

As is the case with pretty much ALL dog treats. In particular, stay away from ANY/ALL dog treats that come from china (and really, anything else from China as well).

Did you read where the beef was sourced? I’m guessing not.

Thanks for the review – I am going to give this one a try, though I suspect every month might wind up being too much for my little girl. We tend to have an overabundance treats from other sources, but not often ones that are longer lasting chews which I definitely like to have on hand once in a while when I need to get things done without pup interference. 🙂

Yes! These were great for my sons birthday party. The dogs were so hyped up with all the people at our house, so I gave them each a bully stick and they laid down and chewed and chewed and chewed!
