I held out for all of the black Friday sale but birchbox just sucked me back in for another year. The price per box was too good and I ordered a few kits I had been eyeing as well. Just fyi, by the time I placed the order, the standard buy $30, get a free sample promo was sold out.

DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING- READ THE FINE PRINT! NO, you are NOT getting these items at 45% off PLUS the additional Black Friday discount 10-25% off! This article should be rephrased! Please rephrase this to save people a lot of frustration and confusion!!!
I just spent an hour shopping only to find out that the Black Friday 10-25% off bonus does NOT STACK with the 45% off “Super Sale”!!!
This is just another way of phrasing that you get 30% off (which is what it’s been all weekend) plus the Black Friday bonus discount!
Don’t waste your time buying another round of products thinking you are saving more than you would have if you bought the same items over the weekend!!! 🙁 🙁 🙁

Sorry we didn’t make this clearer in the post and thanks for pointing it out. Post has been updated at the top to reflect that Birchbox’s 45% off just equals the 30% off sale + 25% off stack. Still a great deal, but nothing new from this weekend. Sorry again!

I don’t understand this sale. When I put one of the Atelier colognes in my cart it still shows “only” a 30% discount plus my 25% off for Aces. I’m never sure if their automatic deductions are not working right or what I want is excluded. This happened a few weeks ago too. Oh well….for a minute I was kind of mad I made all of my sale-on-sale purchases yesterday and jumped the gun but maybe it would have been all the same anyways.

SO in otherwords there is no “PLUS” Discount on top of the 45% off wording of the sale– I hope the article can be rephrased to save people mass confusion and hassle in trying to figure out why its not working for them….. or to buy stuff and realize too late they didn’t get the “45% off PLUS a bonus discount”….

THE DEALS DO NOT STACK! This is JUST another way of phrasing the “super sale” is 30% off plus the black friday 10-25% off bonus deal. There is no extra bonus today that wasn’t there over the weekend! Same prices yesterday, as it would have been today. JUST sneaky advertising and phrasing to make you think it would be a better deal if you buy today.
FINE PRINT:”*Discounts apply on top of 30% Sale Category discount. Just add to cart and the discount will automatically apply at checkout.”

I thought I was going crazy until I read your comment. So frustrating and misleading! I wasted so much time trying to get the things in my cart to reflect the savings stated in this post. What a rip off. The things I tried to buy from the “super sale” section are no further discounted than they’ve been the past couple of days. Disappointed that this was made out to be such a great deal when it isn’t any different than the Black Friday, the extended Black Friday, and the “hacking” sales.

That’s kind of what I suspected after I didn’t notice a difference but the wording is very confusing. I also got caught up in the Ace’s only deluxe sample pack. Last year I swear they had a version with deluxe samples for Ace’s only that worked just like the standard $10 pack. The cost was automatically deducted from your total and could stack with another GWP. Apparently this year that is not true…it is a GWP and doesn’t stack. It took a bit of fine print reading to figure that out too.

Yes, it would have been the same. Their wording is definitely confusing. I finally got to aces yesterday and was assuming I would get 45%+25%, but it is still 30%+25% which together equals about 45%.

I just scheduled a call with them..my order was also only showing 30% off. Seeing as though I also placed an order yesterday, I definitely want the 45% off before I order anything else.
