I didn’t share anywhere and I was waitlisted for about two weeks. Not a big issue.

No waitlist for what? Leftover products? The addons were leftovers and they sold out most of them by the end of the day, so what are they gonna put in now? leftovers from past months?
Some people got pushed back to getting matched and spoilers to the 4th of Novemeber because they seem to punish people who had billing issues on the first, or their system or horribly coded. So I was left with things I never get and don’t have checked on my profile…
Don’t do it lol.

Their billing system is automatic. They’re not singling anyone out for “punishment”. Why would they offer further opportunities to buy things to someone who couldn’t pay for the Glam Bag on time, when they could sell the same things to people who do have money available?
And I’m saying this as someone who did have billing issues this month, and had to wait several extra days to see my spoilers. I got 2 of the items I had said ‘yes’ to in ‘improve glam bag’ feature, and only 1 item from a category that I don’t have checked off on my beauty survey that I will not use. So, no, I did not get “leftovers” and I don’t think anyone else did, either. It sucks that your bag doesn’t fit you this month, but leaving something unchecked in your profile doesn’t mean you won’t get it. Try contacting customer service to opt out of a couple categories of product you don’t want.

You’re missing the point, you got lucky but many people, check our beautyboxes reddit, got punished this way. We had billing issues, we fixed them the same day and then our “timeline” got stuck with no dates for 3-4 days, meaning we missed the spoilers and the addons. Don’t you think that is a punishment or a badly coded system? WE DID get billed on the 1st like everybody else but the system got stuck.
And yeah I did contact customer support but you should know that ipsy is super busy in that department the last couple of months so they take 2 days to answer.

I think you’re exactly right Marion, and there’s only one day for add on items after you’ve seen spoilers. The spoilers show up three days after billing so it’s not a punishment just how billing and customization works.

@AH…. I had a billing issue this month on my ipsyplus and my reg ipsy. Just as you stated, I am being punished, I guess. I made payment on the 1st. Just later in the day (around 7am – 8 am) no add on opportunity…. No spoilers…..Its the 5th!!!!! Ipsy by far has the best customer service. Their app and website however….. STINKS. I guess ill find out what im getting, when it gets here!!!

Just so you know, you can email ipsy customer service if you’re waitlisted and tell them you have no social media but would like to skip the waitlist and they will move you off of it manually. I have done that twice now.
