Now, on to the candles!
Banter & Bliss Candle Co. in Amber & Teak – Retail Value $22
This 7-ounce 100% soy wax candle has a burn time of 50+hours. The scent has top notes of ginger, pepper, and allspice on a base of amber, musk, and woody notes. It’s a perfect transition to fall scent for me.
And with this subscription, you also get a 4-ounce mini candle.
Bamboo Citron Premium Coconut Wax Candle – Retail Value $10.00
This 3.5 oz candle has citrus top notes combined with a blend of bamboo and florals. It has a tropical vibe without being sweet like some scents can be – I like it!
And each Vella Box also comes with a little treat like a food or beauty item:
Ahmad Tea Earl Grey Tea Bags (Set of 2)
I drink several cups of tea a day, so tea is always a welcome extra in a subscription box! Now I just need a book to curl up with! Candle + tea + book = cozy fall goals, right?
Verdict: This month’s VellaBox has a value of about $32. I think the pricing is fair, and I like that the $30 option of this subscription gives you two different candle scents from a line so you can really get a sense of the company/brand.
