Fall 2018 ‘Trick or Treat’ Nick Box Review

This quarter’s delivery features a number of different Nickelodeon franchises – with a little emphasis on the spookier shows, like Are You Afraid of the Dark.

It comes with an information card that details the items in the box.

Zeke The Plumber Shirt – Value $15?

For this delivery’s t-shirt, they went with a spookier character from Salute Your Shorts – Zeke The Plumber – the janitorial ghost from camp!

I love the design – it’s much more of a movie poster type of design.

Even the box is just cool – it’s the classic VHS tape!

All That Pizza Face Mask – Value $5?

In need of a quick costume? How about a classic All That Pizza Face mask!?

It’s just a basic little mask with a strap.

Pop it on and you’re ready – now you just need to find an Ear Boy sidekick.

Oblina Umbrella – Value $15-20?

Oh, I am loving this item! As a fan of AAAHH! Real Monsters, there’s really no better practical item than an Oblina umbrella.

It just looks so cool – this is my new go-to umbrella, I’ll be keeping this in the car.

It’s a basic umbrella, but it does feel like it’s a good quality construction.

Are You Afraid Of The Dark Pin – Value $10?

The pin is large and pretty awesome! Open the creeky looking door you reveal the logo.

Are You Afraid of the Dark Socks – Value $10-12?

You’ll also get a pair of socks from Are You Afraid Of The Dark.

Overall, these are straightforward dress socks, with the logo higher up on your calf.

Each pair is a 98/2 cotton/elastane blend.

Chuckie Planter – Value $20?

While I like this next item, it does feel outside of the box’s theme.

You can pair this with your Gerald vase from last Summer’s box and start your very own desktop garden.

It’s a nice little porcelain planter that is perfect for small workspaces.

TMNT Ice Cream Vinyl – Value $15?

We received the Raphel version of this last Summer – and this Fall brings us a special edition Leonardo vinyl figure.

It’s a cool design, but it’s even better than last year’s model, because:

It glows in the dark!

Nicktoons Halloween Puzzle – Value $10?

The final item in the box is a 220 piece puzzle of the box design – that design is so cool, why not get more use out of it. Plus, it’s nice to use the box while you’re building this puzzle as a point of reference.

Verdict: As someone who might be too nostalgic – this box definitely is calling out to me every quarter. While this wasn’t my favorite box in total, it did have one of my favorite items ever – the Oblina umbrella!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! You’ll see the currently available theme on their landing page.
