October 2018 Petit Vour Review
Each box comes with a folded card detailing the items included, and the prices of the full-size versions.
Now, on to the items!
Goldfaden Md Bright Eyes, 5 ml – Estimated Value $18.33 (buy a 15 ml bottle for $55)
I had never tried any products to address the dark circles under my eyes but had recently been thinking about looking for products to help. I was happy to find this one in my Petit Vour box. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this Dark Circle Radiance Concentrate. The dark circles under my eyes appear less pronounced after just a few applications!
Formulary 55 Rosehip & Clay Facial Mask – Retail Value $8
The packet of clay here appears small and in the instructions, it says to use half of the contents, I was able to get at least three uses out of the contents here if you split the powder up carefully. Be careful with the amount of water you put in, a little will go a long way and too much will make it too runny to stay on your face. Another disclaimer, while I did find this mask to ultimately have positive results and made my skin feel smooth and refreshed, it did sting a little when I first applied it. If you have sensitive skin as I do, I would recommend trying it out on a small patch of skin first. Overall I liked the mask and DIY feel of having to mix the contents with water yourself.
Mai Couture Bamboo charcoal Blotting Paper – Listed Value $10
I love these! I always carry blotting paper in my purse and these felt thinner and easier on my skin than the ones I normally use. They easily removed surface oil from my face without really removing any makeup I had on.
Kani Botanicals Prismatic Highlighter, 0.35 oz – Retail Value $28
This glowing highlighter balm was my favorite item in the box! I had never used a creamy highlighter like this one and I absolutely loved the look of it. It provided the perfect amount of shimmer and shine. It also opened my eyes to the KANI brand, which after exploring their website has a ton of products I am interested in as well.
Verdict: This box has a value of $64.33 – that is just awesome for an $18 beauty box! I loved all of the brands the Petit Vour box included and I will definitely be buying some of these products again in the future.
