Pennie Post Subscription Review – October 2018

PENNIE POST Box October 2018 - Box Review Front

Pennie Post is a monthly stationery subscription service by indie stationery company, Elsie J. Prints and is all about the fun of sending and receiving mail. Each month, you’ll receive a new assortment of unique, quirky items that could include notecards, cards for all sorts of occasions, postcards, and other products to help you up your greeting game. The cards are typically blank inside, too, so you can customize your message!

Pennie Post October 2018 Review

PENNIE POST Box October 2018 - Summary Sheet Front

Each month, Pennie Post will send us a sweet summary sheet that introduces the theme and lays out what was sent to us. This month’s theme is Wild Animals! One thing to note is that this month’s card does say September, but based off of last month’s card, I believe this might just be a typo.

PENNIE POST Box October 2018 - Happy Birthday Card Front

Lion Party Animal Birthday Card

This adorable Happy Birthday card features the king of the jungle with rosy pink cheeks! The perfect card for that special birthday boy in your life!

PENNIE POST Box October 2018- Brown European Style Envelope Front

This card is paired with a brown European style envelope and is blank on the inside.

PENNIE POST Box October 2018 - Unicorn Costume Birthday Card Front

Unicorn Costume Birthday Card

I adore this card! A sweet, little girl dressed as a unicorn sending magical birthday wishes. This fits both the theme for Pennie Post AND Halloween! This card is so beautiful, the picture does not do it justice. It is printed on a pearly card and has a glittery sheen to it.

PENNIE POST Box October 2018- Birthday Card Pink European Style Envelope Front

Our magical birthday card is paired with a pastel pink European style envelope and is blank on the inside for your perfect message.

PENNIE POST Box October 2018 - Congratulations Card Front

YAY!!! Card

The last card we got in our package this month is this celebration/congratulations card. I would also double it up as a milestone birthday card: eighteen or twenty-one.

PENNIE POST Box October 2018- Brown European Style Envelope Front

The card is horizontal and is paired with a brown European style envelope. The inside is also blank for ultimate personalization.

PENNIE POST Box October 2018 - Monkey & Banana Stickers Front

Monkey & Banana Stickers

The final item in our Pennie Post October subscription are these adorable sock monkey stickers! They match our YAY!!! Card, so I may stick some in there.

Verdict: Pennie Post is still one of my favorite subscriptions. They offer original, beautiful, quality cards that you cannot get anywhere. If you haven’t subscribed yet, make sure to do so!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, but order today to receive November as your first!

Value Breakdown: At $11.63 for this subscription, you are paying $2.91 an item.

I am a mother of 2 going on 3 soon and enjoy the little things in life, especially in surprise form! Monthly subscription boxes give me that surprise every time I see the mailman delivering them! My favorite boxes include beauty boxes, lifestyle boxes and anything pregnancy-related boxes; my all time favorite is my FabFitFun subscription.

  1. I love your reviews. The cards are adorable and I think either gender might enjoy either card. Please don’t think a lion/jungle card would only be sent to a boy or the unicorn would be sent to a girl. 💙
