Lavish Bath Box September 2018 “Harvest Festival” Review

Lavish info sheet

I received this information card that highlights each product that can be found in the box along with some coupon codes for the brands included.

Lavish bomb 1 Lavish bomb 2 Lavish bomb 3

Butter Me Soft Change of Season Bath Bomb – Estimated Value $7 (based on other bath bombs found here)

This maple leaf bath bomb really evokes the change of seasons, and it makes some stunning bath art to boot! This had an intoxicating scent of lemongrass, sandalwood, orange blossom, and ginger, and it left the bath water incredibly moisturizing. It looks like Butter Me Soft is no stranger to making beautiful bath bombs, and now I am drooling over these geode ones! Maybe I will use the included discount code and treat myself.

Lavish apple 1 Lavish apple 2

Ruby Fizz Soaphouse Farmhouse Apple Soap on a Rope – Estimated Value $5.50 (based on other soaps found here)

I get a lot of bars of soap throughout the month, but there is just something so whimsical and enchanting about getting this apple soap on a rope. This is a Lavish exclusive and smells like juicy apples with a hint of cinnamon spice, and the rope makes the soap easy to hang up in my shower.

Lavish bubble 1 Lavish bubble 2

Soap & Sunshine Pumpkin Spice Bubble Bar – Retail Value $7

This pumpkin spice bubble bar is the calorie-free version of everyone’s favorite fall drink, and I am in love with the pumpkin shape – check out that cinnamon stick stem! It was easy to pinch off a bit of the bubble bar (I used about a third), and I got a great mound of bubbles that also left my skin silky smooth thanks to the cocoa butter.

Lavish scrub 1 Lavish scrub 2

Ms. Andry’s Bathhouse Caramel Apple Cider Scrub Cubes, 6 cubes – Estimated Value $6 (buy a bag of 12 cubes for $12 here)

These caramel apple cider scented scrub cubes are a Lavish exclusive scent, and boy do they smell tasty! These are also really fun to use because you take a cube and smash it before mixing with water and exfoliating, and I really enjoy anything that tells me to smash something.

Lavish zeep

Zeep Enchanted Body Spray, 2 oz – Estimated Value $6 (based on similarly sized body sprays)

This Lavish exclusive scent smells fragrantly of brown sugar, fig, and vanilla bean- aka it smells like I am getting ready to bake something tasty. This can be sprayed on both your skin or hair, and it leaves a lasting fragrance that isn’t overpowering.

Lavish candle 1 Lavish candle 2

Mountainess Handmade Maple Soy Candle, 6 oz – Retail Value $7.50

This candle is made with American-grown soy wax and it smells just like sweet maple syrup—I am in love! I really enjoy being able to fill my apartment with seasonal fragrances, so while it stays hot as heck outside I can pretend it’s really autumn on the inside.

The Verdict: Lavish Bath Box continues to be one of the best-curated subscription boxes out there, and I cannot recommend it enough if you love bath products! While the retail value is never crazy (this month I calculated a total value of $39), the exclusive products and stellar curation always add extra value that makes this box a real treat to open and enjoy.

The Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you still sign up today? You will receive the October box!

COUPON: Use code ADDICTED to save 10% off your first box!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $45.94 ($38.95 + 6.99 shipping) which means you are paying $7.66 per item.

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

  1. This box was my first order received from Lavish Bath and I am equally impressed with the quality and assortment of products. I appreciate the curation / theme / presentation. Nicely done.

Seriously, I am pretty ( okay, very picky ) about scents and also if a product “delivers” and have to note that I have already placed orders from two of the featured companies . The discount codes are a great touch , thank you.

  2. What a beautiful box! I WANT at least one… but it’s too late, right? This looks so high quality and on target for the season and just gorgeous. 😉

  3. Walp… I just bought 11 Butter Me Soft bath bombs because of this post, lol

  4. Just FYI the Ms. Andry cubes are exclusive because she doesn’t sell the sugar cubes in that smell otherwise, but that scent is available in other products! I am a HUGE Ms. Andry fan and that is one of my favorite scents! I get it in the bath powder and I am obsessed.
