HangSquad October 2018 Review
These are the questions from the Style Profile that you fill out when you set up your account. They also ask for your Instagram name which is how they track which earrings you comment on and like so they can possibly include them in a future box.
This is the card that was included in the box to describe which style of earrings I received. This month I received a pair of Total Trendsetters and a pair of Simple & Sleek. I specifically requested Trendsetter earrings and I love that I can ask for whichever style I am in the mood for each month! It's so fun to be able to switch it up at any time.
Descending Moon Hoops - Estimated Value $18 (based on a similar style found here)
These are so outside of what I would choose on my own, but I love the design of them! The descending moons are so fun and feel perfect for October! They also feel slightly abstract since at first glance you might not even notice they are moons.
While these were pretty decent sized hoops, they didn't feel huge in my ears when I wore them and were very light. They are also unique in the fact that when you put them on, they stay flat on your ear and don't loop underneath like a traditional hoop. It was a little odd to get used to at first, but I think they make a great and interesting statement piece! Total trendsetters for sure.
Rose Gold Pyramid Studs with Gemstones - Estimated Value $18.00
I love these dainty, sparkly rose gold studs! These are what I think of when I picture my ideal earrings. They are just the perfect mix of pretty and simple and are so comfortable to wear. I would say I am pretty smitten with them. The bar is at the top of the pyramid/triangle shape, but they turn comfortably in my ears so I can really have them face any direction I choose.
These were a bit difficult to get a great picture of since they are so dainty, but they definitely sparkle beautifully in my ears. I probably won't take these out until I receive next month's box!
This is the feedback form that you fill out once you receive your earrings. I like that they ask you what you would like to see next time. It makes it so easy to change up your style preferences for the next month or to request something specific. I definitely feel like they took my feedback into consideration for this box!
The Verdict: I think I am starting to fall in love with HangSquad. Each month I am pleasantly surprised by what they send me and I really feel like they give me exactly what I ask for! The styles they share on social media are much bigger and bolder than my personal style, which makes me a bit anxious when I see them, but then when I open my box, I find new styles that are much more suited to my preferences. This is what makes HangSquad such a unique subscription and I have yet to be disappointed. If you've tried this subscription, I want to know! Are you loving your earrings like I am?
