I’d love to try this but I’m concerned about sizing. I’m a pretty solid size 12, so would that be Large?

Does this stuff wash well? And easy to cancel if I don’t like it?

Hi Paula,

I’ve bought some things from Ellie but never subscribed – they frequently have sales where you can get past boxes or individual items that were never in boxes (Ellie Exclusives) at 30-40% off, which is what I’ve done. Since I didn’t subscribe, there’s nothing to cancel but it is a great way to try this out without a monthly commitment.

Everything has washed fine for me – I’ve bought leggings, sports bras, tanks, etc. (some are my favorites and I run 6-7 times a week so I wash a lot of workout clothes). I’ve ordered two past boxes with a mix of sizes – small top and size medium leggings, so you can do that if you have a certain size preference for a specific style.

Only thing is if you are interested in the full 5 item box with workout gear etc., I think you need to order the monthly subscription. I’m constantly fighting with myself not to order more workout clothes… so these types of subscriptions don’t work for me, but I love Ellie and am very happy with what I’ve ordered in the past.

Hey Paula, I’ve ordered from them a couple times and found their sizing chart to be pretty accurate. You can also pick and choose the sizing for each piece; for example, you can get a medium top & large bottom, or whatever combo you need. I’ve washed & line dried everything without issue or shrinkage. I don’t remember there being an issue in canceling, so you should be fine. Good luck – I like all the choices this month so I may resub, too!

Oh also, can you change your sizing each months, on different items – in case you see that varied sizes on different items may work better?

Hi. I love Ellie. I found that things run true to size. When I started working out my jean size was a 10, so the large worked for me. Now, I’ve gone down to an 8 in jeans and the medium is what I get. You can change your sizing every month. Hope this helps!
