I get that the invisibobble is a cool brand and all, but one of those headbands like they sell at Ulta might have been a better choice imo.
I know my mom is going to think these are phone cords lol and she has really short hair & can’t use these anyway.
One of those terry cloth headbands (usually they’re abt 2 to 3 inches wide, have polka dots, sometimes have a bow or animal ears on them) would have been more usable for a wider variety of ppl. I think Allure had an opportunity here to show that they listen to their subscribers and they missed it.

I think a glamglow product that isn’t aimed at oily, acne prone skin would be more universal, but we’re all getting it. That’s just how it goes. I don’t remember ever getting a box with everything I would use, but I usually receive at least 3 items I will at least try.

The only thing I’m excited about for in the november box is the Glamglow Supermud Mask. I understand that is mask month, but couldn’t they send some masks that would last at least 2-3 uses. Some tube of peel off mask or something.

It feels that almost everything would be use within the same day.

Charlotte

I understand the point of including these, but I would rather they sent us a headband instead – something that everyone could use. I wish beauty subscription boxes understood that not every woman has long hair. I have no use for these, and they are not the type of item I would gift, either. I guess they’ll get swapped or donated.

I am really looking forward to this box. I love masks and the GlamGlow is great for my acne. Can’t wait for this month’s box either.

I actually don’t love the spoilers for this box. Most of the masks are one time use deals and that’s sort of a turn off when that’s the majority of the box, is one time use items. The invisibobbles don’t rly make up for that. Definitely a letdown. Which is a shame since this months box was awesome

I’m really excited about this box…but can see how some people might find it disappointing.

YES! Love invisibobbles! They are so expensive and seem to go missing around here, so the more, the merrier!!! Yippeee! Allure is actually becoming one of my favorite subs – and to think I tried to cancel!!! Glad they gave me the $10 offer to stay!

Charlotte

Not a fan. I have shoulder-length hair so these are useless to me. Would have preferred something like a cute headband, which everyone could use, regardless of hair length. I wish subscription boxes would understand that not every woman has long hair.

MG

Worst box ever! The invisabobbles damage my hair. I have like 5 of those glamglow mud masks, allure keeps sending them.
I think Im just going to skip this month.

I already got 3 sets (9 in total) of invisibobble in 2 sizes. I use it everyday, so far hasn’t break yet. I’ve only used one since I bought 3 bundle from fff summer edit sales. This will be gifting so I dont mind getting another pack of it.

Jen

I’m still thinking I’m going to pass on this one. I already have a Mask Maven sub, so additional sheet/lip masks just aren’t giving me FOMO. Ditto for the foot peel, since I already buy them in packs of 3 on the cheap. I love Invisibobbles, but I have so many already. And the GLAMGLOW is a product I’m really not excited about since the reformulation.

Don’t get me wrong… These are excellent products included. I just don’t think it’s a good sell for me personally. I will absolutely be getting the October box, though, and I will be looking forward to December spoilers.

Gidget

I actually really love masks! But the only one I’m actually looking forward to in this box is the Glamglow. I’ll use the watermelon and lip ones as stocking stuffers. I don’t know about the foot peels or those hair things. Hoping they will have another face mask.

YES!!! i’ve been wanting to try the invisibobbles forever, i’m so excited!!! thank you allure!

Loving November 😘😍

Reply ButtonReply

Sammy

I always wear my hair up but I’ve never tried these before, so I should definitely use these often if I end up liking them.

Reply ButtonReply

Kyley

I have long thick fine hair and the invisibobbles haven’t worked well for me, but my 4 year old son keeps taking them to play with lol so it’s a win for him.

Reply ButtonReply

Christyle

I also have thick hair, fine strands, and I hate that he invisibobbles… they break easy and are awkward to use, I will gift them, my 2 teens don’t like them either

Jamie

When should I subscribe to get this box?

Reply ButtonReply

R

1st of November.

Reply ButtonReply

Sammee

If you don’t want October then November 1st at the earliest. Whatever month you subscribe in is the box you start with.

I would really like a moisturizing ” sleeping mask” that’s basically a cloud cream or gel that is left on the skin.
It qualifies as a mask but would be a lot more moisturizing than the removable paper masks can be.

Also, the Glamglow is full size. I think this is the first full sized Glamglow product I will have ever received in a sub box….

Ironically, it’s the only one of their products I know I can’t use because my skin’s too sensitive.
Still, very lovely product for most people and I think it’s liked very much by younger ladies than me. ( Too old for Snapchat, too young for Life Alert) 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Jamie

Glamglow full size products all sell for $49 as far as I know. This one for 100% sure does. This has a retail value of $25 so it’s not full sized.

Reply ButtonReply

Kat

😂😂

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

The Glamglow is a sample size! Sadly, I can’t use that product either and I would qualify as a young person. It’s way too strong for my skin!

Reply ButtonReply

Holly Kinsey

The Glamglow is what I’m most excited to get! I’ve never tried it before!

Lily

According to Sephora, it’s not a sample size, it’s a Mini Size available for purchase for the $25 listed on this site. Click on the link MSA has beside the product.
It’s in a tube, not a jar, but the amount is the same as the Sephora.com Mini sized product.

If Sephora sells it as something other than a sample, then I count it to have a valid retail presence. I’ve never received any other Glamglow full sized product other than some masks in the FFF box.
Maybe other people have though.. IDK? It’s not a product I can use so the value matters to me only for others, not myself. 😉

Sammy

The Glamglow is not full-sized, unfortunately. It is listed as a mini-size on Sephora’s website.

Woo Hoo!!! For Allure and tarte… I tried the glue with a pair of eyelashes from another sub (Boxy?) and it worked.. it took a minute but I had them on for hours and I swear it made me feel differently and I saw people that saw me regularly… really take a second glance… I even napped in them.. this glue is it… woo hoo.. thank you Allure for September months’s box… with lashes & glue…

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

I will definitely be repurchasing the glue once it’s used up or time to toss it. I don’t think I cared as much for the lashes, since they looked a little extra on me compared to my regular brand, but the glue was definitely a hit.

Reply ButtonReply

Jill C.

Yes…its the best lash glue I have ever used! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya M

Okay. I had no idea the glue mattered so much. It made the lashes so much easier to put on… I I loved the peter thomas roth moor mask & the Omorovicza Deep Cleansing Mask samples I have received from other subs.. .hopefully I will love this mud mask…

Lily

I think there’s one spoiler yet to come. Allure boxes usually have 6 products. 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Lisa

That would probably be the Pearl mask.

Reply ButtonReply

Marilyn

I still wish to see a hand mask . . .

Reply ButtonReply

Kay

Me, too! I wouldn’t mind a hair mask, either!

Reply ButtonReply

Jacki

Love invisibobble! I’ll be using these long after the masks are gone

Reply ButtonReply

Oja

What a cute and thoughtful addition to the theme to put your hair up while you mask. Plus I love these things. Perfect for throwing my hair up while I get ready but doesn’t leave any marks in my hair so I can wear it down when I’m ready to go.

Reply ButtonReply

NoAngel

OK, I understand if you have long hair, these could tie in to the mask theme. But for everyone else with short to medium length hair that’s not long enough to gather and hold with a rubber band in the back, these are just a give away. Not feeling like they thought this through. Hair clips would make more sense since you can use them for short hair and bangs as well as helping keep long hair away from the face.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

Yes, I would have preferred to see something people of all hair lengths could use, like a headband. I have shoulder length hair, and these are useless to me.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlotte

Yeah, as a person with shorter hair, I would have preferred to see them include a headband, which is usable by people with ALL hair lengths, not just folks with longer hair.

Reply ButtonReply

Lida

I have no interest in hair clips and the invisibobbles are hot right now.

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa

Not everything in a box is going to be usable by everyone. I receive plenty of things I don’t want or flat out cannot use, but the hair ties are my favorite thing in this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristin

Totally agree I swap so much of my subs because they don’t fit my profile!

Melissa

I see your point, and they could have included a headband/other with the mask theme to be more inclusive, but I’m still glad to be receiving hair ties

GingerLynn

How many items are usually in Allure? Just curious how many more items yet to come. Excited to try all these masks!!

Reply ButtonReply

Laci

Ok now I’m probably going to cave and get this box! I’ve lost all my invisibobbles except one!

Reply ButtonReply

Mariek

Wow awesome!! Ordering another box on amazon
