Pennie Post is a monthly stationery subscription service by indie stationery company, Elsie J. Prints and is all about the fun of sending and receiving mail. Each month, you'll receive a new assortment of unique, quirky items that could include notecards, cards for all sorts of occasions, postcards, and other products to help you up your greeting game. The cards are typically blank inside, too, so you can customize your message!

Pennie Post September 2018 "Back to SchoolReview

Each month, Pennie Post will send us a sweet summary sheet that introduces the theme and lays out what was sent to us. This month’s theme is Back to School, and let me say right away, this was just the best set I have seen yet! (Although it is only the second one I have personally reviewed, I have read Marnie’s reviews of months past).

Writing Tools Birthday Card

The first card in this month’s package is really original and I just adored it. It is featured with an assortment of writing utensil’s: pencils, paintbrushes, pens, traditional and fountain. It also has two different fonts which I absolutely loved together.

This card measures at 5 ½ inches by 4 ½ inches and is blank on the inside. It is paired with a European style envelope in what I would describe as kelly green. Definitely a great birthday card for a teacher or even an artist of any kind – painter or author.

Dog Ate My Homework Sorry Card

This next card is just so cute! It is smaller, measuring at 5 inches by 3 ½ inches and features a cute puppy with torn up paper all around him.

The card is blank on the inside and is paired with a brown European style envelope.

PB&J Happy Birthday BFF Card

The last card in this month’s package is definitely my favorite! It features a peanut butter gal with her jelly BFF. When I saw this card, I immediately knew my daughters best friend will be receiving it on her birthday coming up in December; the two of them are just like PB&J! Super adorable card!!

The card is a horizontal card, measuring at 4 ½ inches by 5 inches. It is blank on the inside (perfect for my daughter who will probably draw a picture with a message) and is paired with a brown European style envelope.

Library Card and Envelope

The final item in September’s Pennie Post was something I never thought I wanted, like ever. When I got it, I was so psyched! My very own library card and envelope with a sticky back! My only dilemma is I have so many books! Which one will receive this authentic library card?! It truly is a neat item and has enough lines for 27 readers since it is lined on the front and back.

Verdict: Pennie Post is such a cool subscription that I would recommend to absolutely anyone who will listen. They work to stay within the theme and the cards are beautiful and so original. This month I was just so impressed with the cards I got. I cannot wait to see next months and the month after that! Way to go, Pennie Post!
