Nadine West is a subscription styling service for women sizes small to 3X. Subscribers fill out a style quiz and are sent an outfit every month based on their style preferences. The best part is that there’s no styling fee—just a small shipping fee that is credited toward the cost of anything you keep.

This package was sent to us at no cost to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

About Nadine West

The Subscription Box: Nadine West

The Cost: $9.78 is charged to your account when your package ships (to cover shipping) and that amount is put towards the cost of the items you keep. If you return everything, however, that amount is not refunded.

COUPON: Use referral code NADINE to waive shipping fees on your first box! That means you can get your first box totally risk-free, with no styling fee and no shipping fee (normally $9.78). You’ll pay only for items you decide to keep!

IMPORTANT NOTE: A while back, several readers expressed concern over the shipping charge of $9.78. Please note that this is a recent increase! However, existing subscribers keep their previous rate, which I think was $6.50.

The Products: Each pink package will include 2-4 items. Typical combos include a shirt or scarf and a couple pieces of jewelry and other accessories.

Ships to: U.S.

Nadine West Plus Clothing September 2018 Review

This is the invoice that was sent with my package. The return date is listed on the invoice. Nadine West sends this box for review, so my prices have been stricken, but if you cannot read what the price should be, I have them listed below with each item.

Jolie Necklace

Jolie Necklace – Cost to Keep $32.99

I love this necklace! I am a sucker for anything druzy, but there is something extra special (to me) about white druzy in particular. I think the stone is so beautiful! I also think it is a good length, and the smaller stones are a nice touch, too.

Full Petal Jacket Earrings

Full Petal Jacket Earrings – Cost to Keep $18.99

OK, I am trying to ignore that pun and just focus on the earrings, haha. These earrings are also really, really pretty! I like this style a lot, but I’m not sure what it’s called when the dangling piece comes from behind the lobe. In any case, these are really unusual, and I like the way they look on me.

It’s a Wrap Top – Cost to Keep $28.49

Interestingly, this is not a wrap top at all, but I guess I can understand why they named it so! This is a really unique garment. I actually kind of like it, and I think it’s fairly flattering. The shoulders can be pulled down for an off-the-shoulder look, but I actually kind of like it on my shoulders, in which case it creates almost a cowl neck. I didn’t know how I would feel about the cross-your-heart straps, but they don’t look bad once I put the top on. I think this might be a keeper…

Alex Dress

Alex Dress – Cost to Keep $29.99

I love this dress! It’s a nice, comfortable cotton knit, and it’s so basic and super useful. I like the neutral dark grey, and the length is good. It’s just really comfortable and something I could wear any time, anywhere, dressed up with a jacket and jewelry or down with a cute pair of sneakers. But what do I love most about it? It has pockets! Which makes me think of this meme. Hooray!

Elegant Flow Kimono – Cost to Keep $31.99

Look at how pretty this kimono is! I really like it. It’s a very lightweight and somewhat sheer polyester blend. It’s really cool and summery, and I could see wearing it with a lot of different things. I also like the draping on the front and the general fit and flow of the garment. So cute!

The Verdict: I love Nadine West! Could this month be a grand slam? Yes, I think so! Awesome! I think if you want to treat yourself to a styling service on a budget, Nadine West is the way to go! Their pieces are not always of the highest quality, but they are consistently the least expensive.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Every package is individually curated to match your unique style, so no, every package will be different.

Coupon: Use referral code NADINE to waive shipping fees on your first box! That means you can get your first box totally risk-free, with no styling fee and no shipping fee (normally $9.78). You’ll pay only for items you decide to keep!

Value Breakdown: The items are valued at $142.45. To just try them on, it costs only $9.78 (which goes towards the cost of whatever you keep), and you can return whatever you don’t want. The average cost per piece is $28.49.

  4. I just signed up for this subscription and used the free shipping code. It sounds great.
A few questions. Does anyone get the $25 insurance? I also read a few problems on the Better Business Bureau that people have had with contacting the company when there is a problem. They also had problems with receiving a shipment mere days before having to send it back. Then people get charged over $100 for things they have already sent, or worse, never received. Have you had any of these problems? Thanks.

    • I was wondering the same thing…I just signed up and not sure about the 25 dollar insurance. Can someone help us with this question? Thank you in advance!

  9. You look great in those pieces! How about a longer length necklace when you are not wearing that kimono with the knit dress? Just to give it a touch of sparkle!

    • Thanks Iggy! Good idea!

  10. Every single thing needs to be a keep!! Those outfits look so good on you. The earrings are very unique and flattering!!
