FabKids for Boys August 2018 Review

Stripe Tee Denim Outfit - Value $56, VIP Cost $29.95

I am SO HAPPY that FabKids has brought back jeans! This may be why I took a million pictures of the jeans, haha. Their jeans are indestructible! They look pretty good too. My son is squarely in the middle of average height and weight for a ten-year-old, and these jeans (size 10) fit almost perfectly. They have a bit of a relaxed fit, but I think they will fit like a glove in a month or two and after a few times through the wash. The shirt is really cute, but the stripes are that plastic stuff. I thought looking at the model that the stripes were dyed into the fabric. The plastic stripes make the shirt a little uncomfortable, according to my son, but it still looks pretty nice. He is wearing n XL (12) shirt, which is why it is so long, I guess. I have to admit that FabKids' tops run a little on the slender side. Their tees are always really soft cotton, but I guess the plastic makes it a little unyielding.

The Verdict: We have been big fans of FabKids for a long time now! Everything is always very soft, fits well, and is reasonably durable. The kids love the trendiness, too. The value this month is great at $56 worth of clothes for $34.90!

We picked the same outfit and were also disappointed in the shirt. It felt very cheap and stiff. The jeans were also quite big in the waist. My son is also 10. I got him 12s and the jeans were a little short (he is very tall) but huge in the waist. I adjusted them and now they are all bunched up and don’t look so good. I know next size smaller would be too short. For reference my son is 5’2” and weighs 60 lbs. He is a beanpole.
