BuddhiBox Essential Oils September 2018 Review

Each BuddhiBox contains a small card with product information and listed cost of each item. On the opposite side is a quote which ties the products together. This month’s mantra from author, Elizabeth A. Behnke, is about alignment.

Good Juju LA – Third Eye Chakra Essential Oil

Good Juju LA – Third Eye Chakra Essential Oil – Listed Value $20

This roll-on essential oil is meant to align the third eye chakra, located in the brow area, and enhance meditation while combating anxiety. The scent is strong, therefore, when I use, “less is more” is my mantra. I roll a small amount on my temples or massage into the palm of my hands and breathe deeply.

Alignment Stone Set – Listed Value $16

This month’s box came with three stones – bloodstone, fancy jasper, and sodalite – to help align your energies. I appreciated the additional information card about each stone’s function. I wish the information card included photos of the stone to avoid having to look up the stone’s online to match them with the description.

Power Reiki Votive Candle

Power Reiki Votive Candle – Listed Value $6

Light this Power Reiki votive candle during the mediation included with this box (more on the mediation later!) to connect with your purpose. The smell is a beautiful blend of essentials such as patchouli and clove. I loved that the smell wasn’t overpowering.

Matcha Tea Sample

Matcha Tea Sample – Listed Value $3 (Buy a box of 10 single serve sticks  here for $19.99)

This matcha chocolate green tea power is delicious! It is one serving size. Mix the powder with 6-8 ounces of hot, but not boiling, water, then stir briskly, and enjoy! I have enjoyed matcha before, but I think they could have included directions for mixing the powder.

The Dreaming Yogi Meditation – Listed Value $10

This month’s meditation is about balancing your chakras. Simply follow the link on the card. It is approximately 15 minutes long and led by Mell, The Dreaming Yogi. If you are not as familiar with chakras like me, there is a five-minute chakra overview video above the meditation. I loved this additional information! I placed all three stones near me and lit the Power Reiki candle to enhance the meditation.

The Verdict: This month’s BuddhiBox Essential Oils box was informational about chakras and aligning the body, mind, and soul. The meditation was a longer one, but I enjoyed incorporating the other items in the box during this time to align. BuddhiBox Essential Oils costs $16.95 (shipping is included for US). Using the listed values, the products add up to $55.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, you will receive the October box. Order by the 8th of the month to receive that month’s box.

COUPON: Use code buddhiaddiction to save 10% off all subscriptions!

Value Breakdown: At $16.95 for this box, you’re paying approximately $3.39 for each of the 5 included items (counting the three stones as one item).

  1. My favorite item is the candle-what a wonderful spicy & woodsy aroma ! I probably won’t order again because in my case the essential oil roll on was only very faintly scented and it was not enough to cover the odor of oil that has started going rancid. Unusable 😟 and disappointing.
