That sixth item better be something pretty amazing! 😳

What’s the point of four cleansers? smh.
Where are the sheet masks? Sleeping masks? eye care?

Pamela

The link from my email is working now, and it is 24.95 and the last item not listed here is
Skin Inc Pure Deepsea Hydrating Mask (20 ml)

So far this seems very lack luster and all the items seem tiny, that’s not typical for Beautyfix … I was excited about the box, maybe at the right price point, but it so far looks like an easy one to pass up.

Waiting for a hero item. Maybe they will surprise us? Hopefully a moisturizer or serum. Not another cleanser, please, I have a ton.

Barb

I may be the only one but the snail item is disgusting to me and probably didn’t turn out well for the snails. Hard pass.

Actually snails (and their mucin) have been used for years in skincare; lots of benefits for the skin and doesn’t hurt the snails. I can’t remember exactly when…but like 3-6 years ago there were spas where you could get a ‘snail facial’. They’d place Big snails on your face and let them crawl around for 30min-2hours. Snails don’t have teeth, duh, but they do have a sandpaper-y ‘tongue’. While crawling all over your face they’d clean off dead skin and leave their slime behind which has amazing skin repairing abilities. Those facials cost a fortune back then and Given the option I’d MUCH rather just use the mucin. Snails gross me out but I’ve been using snail secrete serums from Benton (and other Korean brands) for years. It’s one of my favorite products cuz it does so much good for my skin. Also I can think of much nastier ingredients that aren’t natural and are in a lot of cosmetics. This is just a matter of ‘don’t think about it’ lol. Egg white, and egg proteins are in a lot of products but nobody complains about killing unborn chickens to get it 😂😂😂 no harm to the snails

Still no justification to industrial farm snails…it does affect the environment, thus others even the snail itself. Not only that there are many industrial snail farms that kill snails for escargot.

What affects one affects us all eventually our individual choices are not as personals as we think being we share the same earth and air.

By demanding alternatives to industrialized animal farming it can make this world better for now and future for all, …if it’s not too late…but to me it’s never too late to for a good thing.

Amber

Though the eggs we eat are unfertilized. They’d never be baby chickens anyway 😝🙃

I love Benton snail mucin products. The BHA toner is so refreshing

Danielle

The snails are not harmed — quite the opposite, actually, because optimal mucin production occurs when snails are well-rested and comfortable in their habitat. It’s in the manufacturer’s best interest to keep those little guys happy. If you can get past the slime factor, it’s a really good product for your skin.

I wouldn’t assume that the snails were murdered for their mucin, as it is something that is produced by a live snail. So it wouldn’t be very beneficial for whoever is supplying the ingredient to harm the source.

THE TRUTH ABOUT SNAIL BEAUTY PRODUCTS: OPINION BY DR TRACY LEONG

It seems that there is no conclusive evidence of any beauty benefits and the snails are under great stress to produce slime…an induced stress.

Dea

At the quantities that are made and sold worldwide, I have to believe that this mucin is synthesized in the lab from chemicals. I hope. Like you said, poor snails.

Apricot

I have a hard time getting past that too. I remember when ipsy sent some out, I was so glad I didn’t get it. I don’t want to feel guilty when I’m just trying to feel beautiful.

Rosette

Lol I’m pretty sure you’ve tried brands from IPSY where animals were used to make it or were tested.

Julie

I thought for sure I’d want this, but the snail essence looks teeny tiny as well as the other items…2 cleansing waters? Was expecting more interesting stuff.

A box of oil and water, and they’re hiding the price. It’s almost as if they haven’t curated the box yet – they’re just putting out a spoiler, reading reactions on mSA, then putting out another spoiler, reading reactions on MSA… Beautyfix can do so much better!

Reply ButtonReply

Apricot

I hope they are reading our reactions. On the other hand, it can be a tough to please crowd, enough to give a company a nervous breakdown if they can’t handle it.

I have respect for anyone who is genuinely trying to make it in the sub box business. There’s no way I could do it. My impulse would range from bursting in tears to wanting to email each and every past and current subscriber a GIF of me putting up the middle finger. And one day I’d probably snap and do just that. I think I’ll stick with my day job 🙂

Trisha

Can’t wait for this box! This is awesome- I am a dedicated Asian beauty formula follower and can’t Thank MSA enough for the heads up on this. This is the first I’m hearing about it and without MSA I’d be in the dark and would miss out!

Great products too!

This isn’t the monthly box right? Tell me this is separate to purchase? I don’t like any of it and will definitely skip/pass/cancel whatever to avoid this Asian beauty box.

Reply ButtonReply

Angie

Looks like there’s only 6 items which is a bit disappointing. I wanted to see more than waters on here and a mask 😕 but we will see 🧐

Diane

No I’ll pass

Tat

Meh.

There’s a tube of something SkinInc as well but I can’t make out what it is. And my email is misleading because it says limited edition but also a link to explore this month’s box but when I click it says the box isn’t available.

So not interested in this box.

Reply ButtonReply

Pamela

This IS limited edition and NOT this month’s Beauty Fix, correct? I ask because the email I got from them says “limited edition” then toward the bottom is says “explore this month’s BeautyFix”

Reply ButtonReply

Jennifer

Wondering as well… I’ll skip this month if it is the regular box.

Svetlana7e

First I was excited for this box, but now I am not sure. Looks like it is going to be a box with bunch of samples. Yes, I know, mask considered to be a “full size” 🙁

Paula

What’s with all the cleansers? And so far, this does not scream Asian beauty. Give us some masks and water cream!

Kimberly Morrison

It’s 24.95
