Wantable Style Edit Plus Clothing July 2018 Review

When I signed up for this service, I took a pretty lengthy quiz in which I indicated my price, size and style preferences. I would expect what I receive to be reflective of my tastes, and for these boxes to vary quite a bit from subscriber to subscriber. There is also a note from my stylist, Tatjana. It explains why she chose the items she picked for me. I don’t know why it says this is my first style edit, though, very odd…

This is the invoice of the items they sent me this month. On the right, it shows my cost to keep each item. The total comes to $447. If I keep everything, I get 20% off, plus I get my $20 styling fee deducted. That means a potential discount of $109.40. That’s a deep discount!

Wantable now does exchanges! Hooray! They included this card with details about the new service.

Pull on Pleated Pant by DEX

Pull on Pleated Pant by DEX – Cost to Keep $65

These poly blend pants are super cute, but unfortunately, they were just way too small. They have sort of a wool feel, and they seem really well made. They have a nice, wide leg and appear to be mid-calf length. It’s too bad they are too small! I don’t know if I like them enough to exchange them for a larger size, but they are really cute nonetheless.

Cage Back Printed Top by DEX – Cost to Keep $40

This top is so pretty! And the cage design on the shoulders and back makes it nice and cool, along with the lightweight cotton fabric. I really like it! The only problem is that it’s just a bit too long, which is why I have it sort of pulled up.

Ricki Legging by Jag Jeans – Cost to Keep $89

These are great leggings! I love how dark, solid black they are. They have faux jeans-stye pockets, and they have a nice amount of compression. I like my non-workout leggings to be a bit thicker, though. They are also a little spendy for leggings.

Long Sleeve V-Neck Tee by Piper

Long Sleeve V-Neck Tee by Piper – Cost to Keep $59

This is a nice, basic tee, but it is too long. I also am really not ready for long sleeves yet! It is still super hot here in Georgia, and it probably won’t be time for longer sleeves for at least two more months. In fact, my hair looks wet in most of these pictures, but it’s actually from the heat and humidity. Looking forward to fall!

Croc Burnout V-Neck Tee by Piper – Cost to Keep $58

This black tee has a very subtle reptile print and is somewhat sheer. It’s a very lightweight cotton, and super comfortable! The print is not really my style, though, unfortunately.

Asymmetrical Shoulder Strap Top by W. by Wantable

Asymmetrical Shoulder Strap Top by W. by Wantable – Cost to Keep $68

This cotton blend jersey top is awesome! I love it! It’s soft and comfortable, and the straps are super cool! My black tee collection is a little full at the moment, but I will have to make room for this beauty!

Short Sleeve Swing Dress by W. by Wantable – Cost to Keep $68

I like the idea of this dress – a soft jersey swing dress with a scoop neck and short sleeves for summer! The execution is a little off, though. I’m not sure if it’s the cut or the fit, but this dress is really unflattering on me. It’s too bad! I really like the color!

The Verdict: I really love Wantable Style Edit! This month’s package had more misses than usual. But, I love the black top! So at least I don’t waste my $20 styling fee. I feel like, in terms of cost and value, Wantable sends a good mix of inexpensive and pricier pieces. I also love that they send seven pieces! It’s so fun!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Wantable curates its boxes based on each individual’s preferences as well as what’s available. What you get might not be the same as what I got, but you also might get something that fits your style and body even better than the looks above! Sign up and see what they choose for you!

Value Breakdown: This box cost $20.00 with free shipping and returns. The total retail value of the items inside was $447.00. The cost of each item is listed alongside it above, but if I choose to keep at least 5 items, I get a 20% discount. The $20.00 cost of the box would also be applied to the purchase, meaning I’d end up spending $337.60 for the whole box. Ultimately, that’s a savings of about 24%. The average price per piece is $63.86.

  1. Those are some nice items that look great on you. But jeepers, the prices are high!

    • Thanks April! The prices fluctuate somewhat, and sometimes they have sale items too. Just something to think about!
