Third & Main Home Subscription Box Review – August 2018

Third & Main is a monthly subscription box full of home boutique finds. You can expect decor items, kitchen items, etc.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Third & Main

The Cost: $54.95/box (available monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly) plus $10 flat rate shipping for most of the continental US. $15 to California.

The Products: Third & Main is a subscription box that brings the charm of small-town main street boutiques to your door. Each carefully curated box will include home and self-care items from “mission-minded” vendors right here in the US. Third & Main also includes information on the vendors, so you can keep supporting the small businesses you love.  According to their site, each box contains 4-6 full-size items with a total value anywhere between $85-$110!

Ships to: U.S. only

The box includes cards highlighting the month’s selections and the vendors/makers behind each item. The cards are bound together into a booklet. This month’s theme is “Fun and Function.”

Now, on to the items!

Collins Letterboard – Value Listed $24.99

I have been wanting to buy one of these felt letterboards for the longest time – I was so excited to see this in the box!

Plus I love that the board is on the smaller size (10 x 10 inches) and has a picture frame back so you don’t have to hang it.

The board comes with the standard set of letters – everything you need to convey really important messages:

This is going in my office, and I’m pretty sure I’ll never change the text! 🙂

Letter Caddy – Value Listed $14.99

And Third & Main thoughtfully included this metal caddy to hold all the other letters when not in use:

Crow Canyon Home Enamel Drinkware (Set of 4) – Value Listed $39.95

Don’t these cups just make you want to sit around a campfire?

I love the black and white colors (they fit with my other dishes/glasses but still look special), and these are dishwasher safe, too!

And lastly, we have some straws to go with the cups:

Twigs & Twirls Straws – Value Listed $3.99

These are paper straws (very timely) and super cute, too.

Verdict: This box has a total retail value of around $83.92. That’s pretty fair, given the $54.95 price for the box (plus $10 shipping to most of the US). I think this box is well-curated, and they do a great job matching a theme. It’s also pretty impressive for a home box to keep sending new types of items every month!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? Yes! You can buy this box as a one-time purchase. If you sign up for a subscription, your first box will be the August box.

Coupon – No coupon available at this time.

Comments (3)

  1. I commented once a few days ago and it wasn’t posted. The website says the boxes are 59.95 which is what I’m paying (plus shipping). Can you tell me where 54.95 is coming from?

  2. That’s the box?? Ummm. I think the cup price is quite exaggerated in price. $40? For those cups?

  3. Great box!
