I am assuming MSA monitors what goes on the site for protection reasons.

I only commented that the stones looked very low quality, I’ve seen much more vicious comments. The comment above posted instantly while two others disappeared.

Or perhaps they were nuked because I tried to mention that you can get … uh, trying to think of a word that won’t be censored… phallic carved stone figures and that would have been great for the box.

It’s funny that this is their August spoiler bc they’re including it in the September box. The thing that bothered me was what if I was cancelling after the August box? Do you still get the rock or do you not get it bc it’s sent out the following month? Is their a replacement or are you just s.o.l.? Not that I want the rock I’m just curious to see what they’re doing about a missing item from the August box.

There was a huge backlash before the box started about it being to slutty and now there’s a huge backlash about this box not being slutty enough. I think SlutBox needs to better curate boxes with a balance of both.

I’m pretty sure the backlash was more for the giant label on the box arriving at your doorstop more than any items. The only item some people had an issue with was the name of the lipstick because it became political. Someone had actually called them out on instagram asking when the box would get slutty and they basically said expect more makeup, skincare and such.

I think this is an awful name to give a subscription box, I don’t care if they were giving away diamonds, I still wouldn’t subscribe.
