It’s a great sale except you have to spend $50 to get free shipping.

15% off only saved me a hanful of dollars. Our sales tax is nearly 10% 🙁

I ended up only getting the 2 Smarts boxes and a shampoo. 15% off is just not enough of a discount to really splurge when I don’t have any big-cost items that I need.

I agree with all the comments so far. There are so many items that are online only and I always find that after i’ve made an online purchase I discover additional items that I want. I’m at least 50 minutes from the nearest Sephora! It just occurred to me that I’m in NYC this weekend! Personally am glad to see that there are finally some competitors for our business unless Sephora becomes more appreciative I’ll take my $1,000+ a year somewhere else!

Yes I grabbed one and the play boxes. They are a so much better deal now. I would have never paid 80 for the superstar kit. Also I hadn’t used my online coupon code yet. Went only to the store so far, but now I hope they don’t offer anything else I would have wanted online!

FWIW, Sephora is also having their Labor Day sale with over 400 items on sale, and it’s combinable with your customer appreciation discount! This is available online & in stores (depending on the stores individual inventory stock).

This is one of the reasons I’m bummed I can’t use my code again. I used it first thing last Friday since I’m a Rouge and now I miss out….sigh…oh well….

I was initially bummed that as Rouge I can only use the online code once. No Sephora close by and I don’t want to drive to the city to go to one.

The upside of only using the code once, I probably saved about $400+ by not being able to purchase more stuff 🙂

I think it is horrible that they changed the terms of their sale so that the discount code can only be used online once! That especially hard for people who don’t live next to a sephora. It means that if you don’t already have all that you want to buy in your cart when the sale opens, you have to rush in and quickly buy the stuff you know will sell out (like sk-II), but have no option to otherwise browse and see what you might want to get. How greedy can they get? They even did this to their Rouge members!!

I was hoping that was just because this was a special sale. Isn’t the normal VIB sale not until November? Has it been confirmed they aren’t having that one? I will also be upset if it’s standard now to only use the code once online. I buy exclusively online and am Rouge. I’ve been getting emails all week reminding me I can still shop in store but that isn’t practical for me either since I’m not very close to any.

I agree! Even though there are plenty of stores near me, some things are online only. Some items are not available and you have to submit for an email to be notified when they are available but you can’t really wait for that email because other things will get sold out. The one time only online offer is not a good Rouge perk or for anyone for that matter.
