This box also comes with a special edition bag:

The bag included with this box is canvas with a magnetic closure:

Now, on to the items!

ILIA Fade Into You Soft Focus Finishing Powder - 1.5 g Value $5.67

This is a great ingredient-conscious setting powder. It delivered both on the invisible blurring effect, and on properly setting my makeup. (My big test for setting powders is seeing if it prevents my undereye concealer from creasing, and this one worked!)

tarte Rainforest of the Sea Mermaid Skin Hyaluronic H20 Serum - 10 ml Value $8.40

This is a great sized sample (10 ml), and another new-to-me product!

This serum is super light and designed to hydrate your skin and help diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It absorbed almost instantly, too.

Dr. Roebuck's No Worries Hydrating Face Moisturizer - 15 ml Value $13.50

This is a new brand for me, and I'm impressed. It's described as lightweight, but I'd say it's a pretty rich cream - which is good for me, my skin drank it up!

Dr. Andrew Weil for Origins Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment Lotion - 30 ml Value $6

FYI - be careful opening/dispensing this! I saw "lotion" and pictured your typical lotion formula, but this is actually more like a hydrating toner. Super gentle, too!

First Aid Beauty Coconut Water Cream - 9.6 g Value $6.80

I'm a big fan of First Aid Beauty, so I'm not surprised that I love this cream. It's light, smells fab, and works for both AM and PM use!

Youth to the People Acai Prickly Pear Goji Superberry Hydrate and Glow Oil - 3.7 ml Value 5.43

This is one of my favorite items in the box. It's hydrating, gentle, and smells good, too! (You can also use this in place of a primer!)

Verdict: This box has a value of approximately $45.80 - and that's not counting the bag! I think this is a great deal for $20 if you are interested in ingredient-conscious skincare. I'm pretty amazed that these are all new-t0-me products, and I liked every one of them, and found a few favorites I'll buy in full size.

Yes this box was a win win. I especially like it because it exclusively focused on skincare and now I get to try all new products!

Now I’m torn. I kinda want this box – but I just don’t see myself using the Tarte serum or Ilia powder to justify it.
On another note, can someone please explain why the packaging and overall look and feel of this box is waaaaayyyyyy better than the more costly Luxury “box” that came in a plastic bag?

Just like you Liz, these were all new-to-me products, which made the box even that much more fun for me. There’s not a single product in the box I feel “meh” about.

I am *really* happy with this box. All but the tarte item are new products for me (and I like the tarte fine), which is exciting. The Youth to the People oil is hands-down my favorite item! I couldn’t believe how quickly and smoothly it absorbed and how my skin felt immediately afterward. That will definitely be a future splurge for me.

I’d actually use everything in this little box. Thanks for this review!

Agree. I use everything in the bix making the value better instead of 1 or 2 things that just get gifted or swapped.

Great review Liz.
