My Review
Since all subscribers get something different, there's no info card for this subscription. Instead they usually include a card with something silly and a note about their referral program.
This month, they're asking for you to share your socks on social media to help donate money to charity. They already partner with an organization that provides socks to those in need, so I loved seeing that they're testing ways to amp up that even more.
Penguin Socks - Retail Value $13
I typically receive bokkie socks from this subscription, and we have another fun pair this month. I've always loved penguins (and being from Pittsburgh doesn't hurt, either).
Many of these socks also have fun messages on the soles. These ones say "HAVE AN ICE DAY"!
As much as I do enjoy these, they're a little unseasonal for August. I might have to save them for a stocking stuffer gift this holiday.
These socks are thin and stretchy, in a good way. I have a fair number of socks by bokkie at this point, and I can say they do wash and wear well over time.
Verdict: Say It With A Sock is definitely my favorite "fun" sock subscription. While you can buy socks off the rack at big box stores for cheaper, I think this subscription really shines as a great gift idea: it's something that will put a smile on someone's face month after month and it's pretty affordable, too. It would end up being more expensive in most cases to buy these exact socks online and pay for shipping (or to ship socks monthly as a gift to a friend).
