quirky post box

Quirky Post is the little sister to Quirky Crate that delivers a small “box of awesome” to your doorstep each month.

quirky post unboxing

Each Quirky Post will include 3 items. You are guaranteed a pair of socks and an enamel pin. The 3rd item is a surprise, and each box is different! They may include past items from Quirky Crate or new items that they know you’ll love. But don’t worry, they’ll make sure you never get the same item twice.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

Quirky Post August 2018 Review

Always Tired Pin by Elorasaurus - Retail Value $10.72 ($14.00 CAD)

Every Quirky Post includes a piece from a featured artist. This month's featured artist is Elora Nelson from Elorasaurus, who, among other things, makes these cute reimaginings of classic Sailor Moon characters. If I'm being honest, I don't know if the aesthetic is quite me, but I am 100% on board with the sentiment, hehe! The quality is gorgeous—its perfect for gifting—and I love that the backing is rubber, which always seems to hold better than metal-fastener backings I have.

Quirky Socks Office Desk Socks

Socks are also a fixture of this subscription. I'm always a big fan of the socks they feature, and this month is no different. Look how colorful and delightfully wacky these socks are!!! There's a calculator, a clipboard, and some kind of A4 paper on each sock. The colors and wonky angles make this feel like a design out of an old-school cartoon or PeeWee's Playhouse episode. The socks aren't all that thick, so I'll probably have to be careful not to wear through them. But for a fun night out, they'd look great peeking out from some flats or Mary Janes!

Quirky Crate Iron On Pineapple Patch

This colorful iron-on patch is about the size of a business card. The contrasting colors look awesome, thanks to the tidy stitching. I do feel a bit sad that this poor pineapple feels a little out of place here at the end of the summer. Maybe I'll hang on to it as a way to welcome the warm months next year!

Verdict: This wasn't my favorite-ever assortment of Quirky Post picks, just from a style/aesthetic standpoint, but the socks made it worth my while! I'm always so excited to get this little box. I think it's great that they support smaller artists, too. It's the perfect box for treating myself. And whatever I don't keep ends up making really cute gifts!

To Wrap Up:
