Play! By Sephora August 2018 FULL Spoilers Box #239, 353, #379 & #395!

I know I have natural hair and am black why are sending this to use. All they say is fill out your profile. It has my color iq and everything so why send this box to me I’m so over Sephora play now.

I’m pretty sure the profile doesn’t count for anything. My mom and I have started getting the same exact boxes lately. For the last 3 months our boxes have been identical. This wouldn’t be a big deal if she wasn’t my mother and 20+ years older than me amd we weren’t so different profile wise. dry skin for her – normal to combo for me. She has blue eyes and mine are brown. Her hair is thick, dry, processed and ashy blond and mine is so dark brown it’s almost black, baby fine and untouched by chemicals. I need help with my giant pores and fine lines and she needs help with dryness and advanced signs of aging. Beauty wise she and I are extremely different, but we keep getting the same exact Play box. I even called Sephora abt this in July. I told them how different we are and asked why we’re getting the same box every month, but they had no answer for me. And here we are, the following month, and getting the exact same box again. I am so close to cancelling! I already dumped boxycharm bc they kept sensing me boxes of useless items and they were my favorite sub. I have no problem canceling what is usually my least favorite box of every month.

Alllllllllll I wanted In This World was the Nars primer, instead there’s 2 items I previously received (ended up buying full size ABH gel FROM SEPHORA😒), I don’t use nor care 4 mask bc my skin’s weird & Super oily, they’ve sent several dry shampoos to this woc w/ natural hair who has no use 4 them which brings me 2 the shampoo/ cond for blondes smh Oh yessss let me not 4get the lip plumper!! For an Afro-American 🤣😂 Comical! Angelina Jolie & I run close or my lips are bigger lol. So yea I’m totally over it.

Boxes 239 and 338 are about the same. I would like to trade also for the nars eye primer… and the ciate highlighter is really nice also. They sent me pictures. Does anyone know how ro change the profile to get exactly what you want?

same. I just received 353 in the mail today and more than half of these samples are repeats from the past. I also am a brunette so idk where they’re getting the idea to send me a one time use cool blonde shampoo/conditioner when my profile clearly states I have brown hair? Just went on sephora’s website and cancelled. so over these trash samples that have nothing to do with my beauty profile

Exactly! I’m probably gonna cancel. I’ve had triple of so many products including these ones. I think i’ve gotten that lip shade 4 times now.

I geek the same about the shampoo. My hair is dk brown. I have med-dk skin So why they keep sending lipstick colors for fair peyote is beyond me. It’s like they screwed up entirely with me on this. Yup

I am getting 338 and someone online posted their 338 is the same products listed in 239 above.
