Each box comes with a card detailing the brands and products included plus a 20% off code to use towards purchasing products from the included brands. There’s also some info about the LoveLula Natural Beauty Club.
Infuse My. Colour Treat Conditioner, 250ml - Retail Value $23.64
I’m seriously considering this becoming my new go-to conditioner. It compliments a line of shampoos that are tinted in different hues to help maintain hair color and tone. I’m not using those but this is worth a try on its own. It is silicone-free and leaves my hair silky and hydrated but without any residue. Plus, it provides enough slip for me to easily comb out my tangles in the shower. I’ve worn my hair natural and straightened after conditioning with this and been impressed with the softness and manageability of my hair both ways. As for the scent, John describes it as “spicy flowers,” which I feel is pretty accurate.
Ooh! Oils of Heaven Hemp Oil, 30ml/1.02oz - Retail Value $24.96
If you subscribe to LoveLula for more than a few months, you’ll probably build up quite a nice collection of these oils from Ooh! I love the glass dropper and minimal design. Their organic hemp oil is cold pressed and rich in omega-3 and omega-6 while having an ultra-low comedogenic index. So, it’s great for all skin types, even oily and those prone to acne. I applied it to my super dry skin after cleansing and noticed it sunk in right away with absolutely no greasy look or feel and left my skin feeling nourished and comfortable. The scent is very faint but reminds me of freshly snapped green beans. 🙂
Balm Balm Tea Tree Organic Face Balm, 30ml/1.06oz - Retail Value $12.48
Another staple company in this subscription, Balm Balm makes products that are multi-purpose. This tea tree infused balm is suitable for use anywhere on the body and for all skin types. I’m really enjoying slathering it on my feet after a long day and letting the tingly sensation relax me. Lots of people like its ability to zap zits too.
Apple & Bears Hair & Body Wash, 30ml/1oz - Retail Value $2.36
This body wash smells like a mix of the best of citrus. It’s so energizing! It cleanses skin without stripping it or leaving behind any residue. You can even use it to wash your hair (if you like the all-in-one thing). My gripe is that the bottle is small and the writing seemed to rub off so the ingredients were hard to read, though they are available on the website.
Chobs Aloe Face Sheet Mask - Retail Value $5.39
If there is one thing I use a lot of in the summer months, it’s aloe. My skin does not like the sun and is very sensitive. This mask felt so good after a long bike ride that resulted in a hot, burnt face. It helped to tone down redness and hydrate leaving me with soothed skin. Tip: Keep sheet masks in the fridge to make them extra cool and refreshing.

- D’Alchemy Super Rich Multi-Hydrator - $62.69 for 50ml/1.7oz
This is a rich moisturizer that leaves my skin feeling super soft and nourished. It has a very strong scent though – I think it’s clove – that is just too much for me.
- John Masters Lime & Spruce Hand Cream
This hand cream applies a little sticky at first but sinks in quickly and leaves a silky feel. It has a whipped texture and does a nice job of moisturizing my dry hands. But, it smells too strongly of a Christmas tree for me.
The Verdict: I’m really happy with this month’s LoveLula Beauty Box. Every one of the main products was a winner for me and maybe even a new HG product. I like knowing that every product from LoveLula is ingredient conscious and comes from brands that are environmentally and socially responsible. It is also very easy to look up the ingredients on the site. This box has a value of $68.83 plus free shipping which I think is a decent value for a cost of just under $25. Though being outside of the UK makes this box a little more costly, I think you are paying for a curation of products that are rigorously vetted for their effectiveness, sustainability, quality, and policies against animal testing.
