June 2018 “Truth Foretold” Halo Legendary Crate Review

The June box comes with a mini cooler, ice mold, shirt, Halo Icons figure and customary pin.

The information sheet is a 17×11, rolled up poster on one side. It arrived in a cardboard sleeve to protect it  – just in case you want to frame it.

On the back – you’ll get all of the details on your items. It also always has an XBox code for a digital extra:

This month’s extras will work in the Arena and Warzone multiplayer modes of Halo 5: Guardians.

Plasma Rifle Pin – Value $5?

This month continues their weaponry pin set with the Plasma Rifle pin. You can get this silver variant or the more-limited gold variant.

UNSC Data Drop – Value ?

Each month also always arrives with this UNSC data drop top secret folder.

This changes from month-to-month. It’s like having a peek into in-game storylines and sometimes comes with framable pieces.

It’s a nice touch each month – but I don’t really know how to apply a value to it.

Wraith Schematic Shirt – Value $15?

This month’s shirt details highlights the Wraith ground vehicle.

This graphic is like a schematic that details weak points of the vehicle.

Halo Icons Prophet of Truth Figure – Value $25?

The ‘Truth Foretold’ theme would almost have to have a figure of a Prophet Hierarch!

The detail on the Halo figure line is usually pretty spot on – they’ve done a good job with this month’s figure as well – I love the look of him floating.

Plasma Grenade Ice Mold – Value $10-15?

To chill your favorite summer drink, you’ll get a new ice mold.

It pops open to reveal a sticky grenade ice cube once it’s all frozen.

Covenant Crate Cooler – Value $20-25?

The final item is a 10×7.5 Covenant supply crate portable cooler.

It’s not a super in-your-face design, but Halo fans will get the subtle detail.

It’s insulated, too – with room for a six pack of beverages.

Verdict: I liked the to-go drink items and the figure this month. But, it’s so late that it takes a bunch of my excitement out of the surprise! Overall, like a lot of Loot Crate lines, I tend to like the items but hate the delays.

To Wrap Up:

Can I still get this box if I sign up today? No, the current theme can be found on their landing page – sing up before August 15th to get the August box.

COUPON – Save 10% off any length subscription, or $3 off month-to-month with coupon code ADDICTION or SAVE3

  1. I could definitely feel your frustration about the delays by reading this review Eric. Usually the reviews from you are more upbeat and exciting. 😒
