GlossyBox August 2018 FULL SPOILERS!

I got the same and had only signed up for 3 months (i use the boxes to put gifts in) i will not be signing up again unless they give me a great coupon code because I feel the products are just so so

Same! And I already have a full size of it as they sell it at Walgreens. So disappointing when you get a cheap product and a lot of other people get an expensive one to try. If I pay the same price I should get the same value.

Emmy I feel your frustration!!! That’s another point I touched on in my BUYER BEWARE comment, they do send out different variations of the box, so these guys that are getting the good boxes are the ones with either a YouTube channel or a blog page so they can advertise all these cool boxes and in the mean time they are sending us the crap boxes!! I think it’s BS if you ask me, if you want anything from Glossybox the only boxes I’m seeing that everybody will get are there specialty boxes like the holiday boxes and the mother’s day boxes otherwise we get the crappy boxes that aren’t worth the postage it costs to send them out!! I’m trying to get the word out there as to there scam tactics, I want everybody to know what kind of scam they are running over there. I’m sorry you got taken to but if we stick together and let other people know what they are doing maybe they’ll change the way they do business (I doubt it) but it’s worth a shot. I’m not saying one thing that didn’t happen to me and I see I’m not the only one, I knew I wasn’t I just want people to be aware of Glossybox and there scam they have going on!! When I 1st signed up a year and a half ago the boxes were pretty good well better than they have been the last 6 months or so, and I to have been paying full price for this crap!! I don’t/didn’t get any discounts, I cancelled in May and they sent me an email to sign back up for a 3 month and get 2 Luxie brushes free, well stupid me I fell for it and I emailed them over and over and they said the brushes were only as supplies lasted ok, and the June variation they were sending me sold out so they were sending me a different variation and as of right now I’m still waiting on my June box!! You can email them and they’ll tell you they go based off your profile on there website which is a lie bcuz my profile is set that I want all the makeup they can send out and all the survey’s I fill out on the website tell them to send me more makeup and they don’t, they don’t even read your email little lone read your profile!!! Most emails I’ve received back from them are a generic rebuttal email and that’s if they email you back!! They say it takes 24-48 hours for them to reply back to you, how busy do you really think these people are?? The only thing they are busy doing is scamming us out of our hard earned money and I’m not liking it!! I’m tired of paying $21 a month for sample size shampoos and conditioners, I can buy a whole lot of shampoo and conditioner for $21, and it’ll last longer than a week!! I’ve got long hair so I use more than the average person. If you do email them I’d be curious to hear what they have to say lol, I’m sorry to hear what they are doing to you and GOOD LUCK emailing them!!!

update: the primer is $26 on the VDL website. That’s a $23 value disparity between the two variations. Which is more than I paid for the entire box. So disappointing.

When I log into my account, then scroll halfway down my account page, there is a “Subscriptions” section. When I click on the Subscription box (not the “View All” button, but the picture), it shows my current plan, then if I scroll down slightly, there is a “Turn Off Auto-Renew” button. That should cancel your subscription. 🙂

Their customer service is some of the worst I have ever encountered. I haven’t subbed to Glossy Box in well over a year but I still have a bad taste in my mouth.

Don’t even get me started on Glossybox….

I got my aug box today. It didnt have a code.

That’s a bummer. It was spoiled on MSA. That was the part I was excited about. I can’t keep this sub for the box designs.

Yeah, they did a clean beauty box recently and I was sad that it didn’t ship here. It seems like they’re trying to make Glossybox the US Look Fantastic but I like LF as it is.

It really depends they started out sending more full size but lately it’s more sample and deluxe sample sizes.

The nail polish will count as a full size, the primer is a little smaller than 1/2 size, the Monu looks like it’s about 1/2 full size. The Setz powder is sold in a five pack at CVS for $3.99.

disneyjoy1970, yes I agree this box variation isn’t bad but be careful you may receive totally different products than what they show you here! I’ve noticed that too watching YouTube videos and these companies that are showing us the different products I believe is how they SUCK us into there web of lies!! It’s not MSA’s fault or the YouTuber’s fault Glossybox is doing this on purpose, they send these guys the better boxes and then they’ll throw that free gift in there and us the people that don’t know any better buy into the box and it comes totally different than what you’ve seen here or on YouTube!! Trust me this didn’t happen to me over night, I’ve had a love/hate relationship with Glossybox for over a year now and I watch on this website and YouTube and I promise I hit the nail on the head with how they are doing business. If I’m not completely right I know I’m at least 95% right. The spoilers are all right and everybody gets it’s the other products that differ in every box. They do send everybody the same 1-2 spoiler products, and the rest are completely and totally different, and a lot of those products come sample size/deluxe sample sizes!! I’ve been watching the box for a few months to see exactly how they work. I’m pretty sure I’ve got it correct but I can’t say 100% I’m only about 95% right on this!!! NOT to mention there customer service, oh my goodness get the boxing gloves out and prepare yourself for a fight with them, they have there couple rebuttal comments that they come back at you with, I mean they don’t even take the time out to read what your email says and they have a rebuttal comment already waiting to attach it to your email and send it back to you!! I’ve written plenty of emails to them so I know that is correct, bcuz sometimes the comment back to me has nothing to do with the email I sent them!! I love Liz and the job you guys do here at MSA, it’s fantastic top notch!! I just wished this subscription service didn’t go through those channels to sell there subscription box!!! Without you guys here at MSA or YouTube we wouldn’t be able to detect there shady tactics!!! YES they are SHADY bcuz they’re not sending us what they’re sending them and to me that’s SHADY, if it’s not than they should send everybody the same thing like Boxycharm, Lola, etc. does!! Thank you for listening to me and I’m not at all disgruntled I just want people to know the real truth about Glossybox!!! It’s August 5th and I still haven’t received the June box, they told me a month ago they were sending me a different variation than what I was supposed to get and I’m still waiting, still waiting!!! Just be careful is all I say, everybody works hard for there money and for this company to come right out and blatantly lie to us that’s what makes me mad!!! And don’t forget there customer service is the absolute worst in the business!! Sorry Liz for such a long comment but I think people should be warned/told about what they are spending there money on, what kind of subscription service Glossybox is!!!
