Fruit For Thought "Juicy Fruit" August 2018 Review

Fruit for Thought info sheet

Here is the card that gives you some more information about the items included.

Fruit for Thought sun 1 Fruit for Thought sun 2 Fruit for Thought sun 3

Swanson Glass Orange Glass Suncatcher - Estimated Value $9.99 (based on similar styles]

How gorgeous is this! This stained glass suncatcher features a round orange pendant with a silver dangling peach charm and two beads. I am not quite sure how to hang this up with the blinds I have on my windows, but once I figure it out I will happily hang this up.

Fruit for Thought sun 4

Here I am holding it up against my window. Duchess was a big fan of how the light reflected through this, too!

Fruit for Thought scrub 1 Fruit for Thought scrub 2

My Preserve Company Florida-Georgia Line Sugar Scrub, 2 oz – Estimated Value $10 (buy the full-size version for $20)

This sugar scrub is loaded with sugar, orange, and peach oils, and I can assure you that it smells as good as it sounds! This sugar scrub provided great exfoliation while leaving my skin soft and smooth, and this was a zesty way to improve my morning shower.

Fruit for Thought pencils 1 Fruit for Thought pencils 2

Blanca Gomez “Apricots” Pencil Set - Retail Value $7.49 (£5.83)

I was unreasonably excited when I pulled these pencils out and saw that they came PRE-SHARPENED. I don't own a pencil sharpener, and the only time I need a pencil is when I am taking an exam with a scantron sheet. I usually end up borrowing a pencil from a classmate, but I am going to store these cheerful pencils away until finals are upon us so I can use these instead!

Fruit for Thought soap

Bubble Girl Soap Glycerin Soap Bar in Georgia Peach, 6.5 oz – Retail Value $5.50

This bar of soap smells just like a juicy peach, so naturally, I am in love with it. This soap is thick and has a nice weight to it, so I should be able to have peach scented skin for a long while yet. I found it to do a good job of getting me clean without leaving my skin feeling tight.

Fruit for Thought cookie 1 Fruit for Thought cookie 2

Byrd’s Famous Cookies in Georgia Peach, 1.5 oz box – Buy a 16 oz bag for $16.95

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I saw these—while I am familiar with peach candies I have never had a peach cookie! These really taste like peaches and cream thanks to the peach flavor and powdered sugar coating, and these were light with a good crunch without being stale. Tasty!

Fruit for Thought tissues

Wild Berry Blossom Pocket Tissues - Estimated Value $2

I’ll be honest and say I am not quite sure how to value these pocket tissues, but these are definitely a step above your regular plain Kleenex! I love the gorgeous watercolor floral pattern, and as soon as I saw these I stuck them in my purse for future use.

Fruit for Thought gummy

Georgia Peach Sour Gummies - Retail Value $0.75

Peach gummy candies are one of my favorite treats and these did not disappoint! They have the juicy sweetness you expect from a peach candy but there is just a touch of sour in the coating that makes the flavor really pop. I gobbled these up very quickly.

Fruit for Thought chew

Bonus! Albert’s Peach Chews - Buy one bag for $5.55

Scattered throughout the box was a handful of these peach chews! I had never had them before, and I was all about more peach candy. These weren't as juicy as I prefer and they were a bit hard to chew, but I enjoyed them nonetheless.

The Verdict: Fruit for Thought continues to be a joy to receive! I love peaches, so I really feel like this box knocked it out of the park! I loved that this came with both sweet snacks and useful products, and overall the curation for the theme was stellar. I couldn’t find a value for everything included, but most of the items add up to $35.73. Overall I think the cost of the box just about meets the value of the box. This isn’t the box for you if you’re interested in a steal of a deal, but if you want thoughtfully curated unique items that are of a high quality, this is a great one.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, your first box will be the September box (which is Fiesta themed!).

Coupon - Use code MSA20 to save 20% off your first box!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $31.99 + $4.95 shipping, which means that each of the 7 items in the box (not including the bonus peach chews) has an average cost of $5.27.

I just added Swanson Glass to my favorites on Etsy. Those suncatchers look like great little hostess gifts. Their whole shop is pretty and the price is reasonable.
