Ellie August 2018 Review
Each month, you get to choose one of three fitness outfits that you’d like to receive. (You have until the 4th of the month to pick.) You can also skip the month and not be billed.
This month, I picked the “Tough Luxe” outfit. The leggings just looked so cool! Let’s break it down piece by piece. FYI, the tops I got are size medium, and the bottoms are size large.
This “singlet” is really just a fancy tank top made of a 90% polyester, 10% spandex blend fabric. It’s smooth and has plenty of stretch and wicking potential. I like the crisscrossing details on the back of the tank, too, though they made it a little confusing to put on, haha!
Moulded Cup Bra
This 80% polyester, 20% spandex bra feels super supportive for being as plunging as it is. The center and back are sheer, and there’s a set of crisscrossed bands in the front for a sassy little detail. The cups are comfortable but not stifling. I could see wearing this super comfortably on a run or a high-intensity cardio class.
How cool are these leggings?! I love the mix of mesh panels and ribbed thigh details. They feel super sleek, plus they’re pretty flattering. The ribbed sections do pinch in just a bit so the silhouette isn’t perfect from some angles, but they’re so comfortable and awesome that I’ll forgive it!
I’ve wanted one of these for a while! It feels so nice rolling along tired muscles—especially post-work shoulders or my thighs and calves after a spinning class.
Super Loops Band
This resistance band is thicker and narrower than the wide, flat bands I’m used to. It’s got just as much oomph, though, so it’ll be a nice addition to my at-home workout collection.
Verdict: I’m really into this month’s outfit! I like that you get to choose between three outfits, so I can always be sure I’m getting something that suits my style. The workout gear is also nice—the quality is pretty good, and the items themselves are useful for the kind of things I like to do when I’m working out in my living room. The quality and fit of the clothing is great, too. I can’t wait to sport this look at my next class!
