I love the gray striped one! It’s perfect for fall. Now I’ll just have to get a jacket to match it, lol.

If this is the same scarf I received (the grey/striped) from Change Co. box (which discontinued their box), it’s very thin but freaky soft. I’m almost certain it’s the same one.

The one in the Change Co. Box is the Sagar Scarf. It is very similar to the Malabar in this box.

Jen
Do you by any chance know if the softness and thickness are same or if this one might be different?

I signed up for this box without any spoilers because I was so disappointed in the lack of ‘fall’ items in the FFF box I subscribe annually to. I was hoping for something fall-ish here.. I am thrilled to be getting the scarf, however, I REALLY want the grey one. I don’t like the other one. I’m only seasonal though, so 🙁

Ooh, that grey stripe one is cute! My favorite sub. I don’t get the hatred in some comments below, this sub has some of the best customer service I’ve seen! They very clearly emailed about the delay with the second summer box due to the supplier having a family emergency. They offered refunds, as well. Not to mention, they support great causes and small businesses. I loved that they showed sympathy for the company that made the kimono and thought they handled it well, given the situation.

On the Bloom & Give site you can see them better and their dimensions. They are cotton which is much nicer than the synthetic scarves a lot of places put in boxes, and they are much better looking on the site.

Whew. Lots of entitlement!

Don’t like only giving a choice to annual subscribers. Rachel Zoe BOS, which has its customer service flaws to be sure, at least let’s seasonal subscribers choose, and FFF let’s seasonal subscribers select some of the choices. Why wouldn’t you want your seasonal subscribers to be happy with what they receive too?

I love textiles. I wish I had taken advantage of the $15 off, but at least I got $10 off.

Jen
How do you get $15 off?

Right now you don’t. That deal expired.

I think scarves are like red lipsticks. Half the people will be thrilled and half will be annoyed. I do have a ton of scarves but I love the diversity in styles that I’ve received.

When i found out FFF will have no scarf this year I was really hoping Causebox will deliver (as these are my only subscriptions in the moment). A gray or a pink scarf, honestly, is not very fall but that has its good sides as well I guess.
Note that there’s a metallic stripe on the pinkish one (visible on the website of Bloom & Give). I mean it looks a lot cooler on their site than here so if you are not 100% for the grey one, maybe go check it out.

I love scarves I cannot have too many. Probably over 100 in my closet. I will wait for the other spoilers but thinking of buying the annual. I stopped FFF for 3 years, but bought the annual in the summer because of the additional customization. I regret not buying the annual for this box in the summer, which was my first box. I was hoping to get the pink clutch, and it took forever for me to find one that is not listed at or over $50 on eBay. I hoped for the steel water bottle and I got it. My nail polish broke and it was all over the box inside. CS replaced it. So if the other spoilers look promising, I will buy the annual.

Looks like I’m one of the only ones looking forward to the scarf. I like that it looks lightweight and not so thick, perfect for a CA fall or winter. I have been very pleased with Causebox boxes.

Me too! I just recently moved from MI to AZ and this looks perfect for the winters here. I guess not everyone can be pleased.

Not another scarf! My God I have close to 15 scarfs from the last 2 years and I never wear any of them! Please sub boxes, no more scarfs!

I have that problem with mugs! I love scarves, perfect amount of warmth for southern California, so this spoiler is perfect for me. I also use them as a privacy screen when I nurse in public, helps my baby digits on feeding too. If you have a ton and know someone expecting, might be a good gift idea. I just wish I could get both!

I love mugs! Are you on the swap page?

I agree but I was chuckling to myself when everyone was complaining about FFF’s box not being “fall-like” and suggesting that they should have included a scarf. It truly is impossible to make everyone happy all of the time. LOL.

I don’t really need a scarf, don’t use the many I have gotten in past sub boxes. never gets cold enough in FL to use them to keep warm and I don’t like scarves as a fashion accessory. might make a nice gift to have on hand for emergencies.

At least it doesn’t have pompoms and/or tassels on it. Would like to know fabric content.

I tried to look through the Bloom & Give website. The gray looks like 100% cotton and the other one 96% cotton and 4% lurex. Maybe…

They put out a public apology on their Instagram. I don’t think they expected the summer box to sell out as quickly as it did. Try and cut them some slack and realize that everyone makes mistakes.

I unsubbed. I have a ton of scarves and like the one I’m getting in PSMH better anyway.

Oh gee. Another scarf. Another overpriced scarf to add to my collection of other overpriced scarves I received from other sub boxes. I love how these sub boxes use these to increase the value of the box.

Ugh, yet another box that has decided to do variations, but only let annual members choose what they get, punishing people who don’t have the $$$ to buy an annual subscription. I don’t subscribe to FFF for this exact reason, and was considering subscribing to Causebox because it seemed to forego the BS a lot of other box subscriptions pull. I’ll wait to see what the rest of the spoilers are, but right now I’m not impressed.

MissJ
They’re not punishing anyone. Don’t you think you should be rewarded if you’re willing to pay in advance for a whole year? Otherwise, no one would do it. Also, annual subscribers cannot cancel a box, they have to take them all whether or not they like them.

Love these! I think I want the stripey one. I’m relatively new to subscription boxes, and only have a couple of scarves, so I’m good. 😊
LB
I tried to post this same thing earlier and for some reason it’s not showing up. It’s a smart business decision to incentivize prepaying. Also, those who prepay assume the risk of being “punished” if the company suddenly goes under…which has happened before.
LB
I understand how it seems like a punishment for seasonal subscribers, but it is actually an incentive for annual subscribers. Having the investment of annual subscribers upfront AND the loyalty (we can’t unsub and resub based on spoilers) is a strategic and sometimes necessary business move. Most people would obviously not pay that much upfront for no reason, though. So that’s why some companies offer a small discount or the option for personalization. It’s a thank you for the investment just like how “gifts” are given for Kickstarter campaigns, for example. And, remember, it is often those that gave all of their money ahead of time that get “punished” if an when a company goes under and just disappears….so it is taking on a bit of risk too.

Thank you. People are so entitled.

After the summer Causebox debacle, and all the lies, I already cancelled. Nothing ethical about lying to your customers, then when called out, management continuing to lie. It’s okay to make mistakes, but own up to them, don’t lie on top of other lies. I was initially hopeful for this sub, but a summer box at the end of the summer is useless, when I will get my FALL FFF box this week. Causebox sent out their freebies before their paying customers, because they dont value them. And no credit or extra anything to say they are truly sorry – because they aren’t. But they drop the price $15 for others, no problem?? Plenty of other boxes out there. Plenty.

They don’t need you then. What lies??

I’m pumped!
