BoxyCharm September 2018 SPOILER!

I got the purple becca primer and I love it! But I got a poop brown colored glossy liquid lipstick so there’s that lol guess they had to balance it out.

I’m a bit unhappy. My July eye pallet was damaged. I notified them immediately along w pics as required. I was notified a replacement would be included w my August box and IT wasnt. This is only my 3rd month as a member so I’m not real happy. I contacted them again and have not received a response.

How do you get the luxbox?

Ugh! I got lashes too. I’ve never been able to get the hang of applying them. But even if I could, I wouldn’t wear the style they sent—Bambie. I love how the email invites me to “see what product we chose just for you.” Yeah right! I’m so frustrated. I seem to always get the variations I like the least. Last month I even tried ordering a second box under a different email/account and I got the same exact items in both! For two years now I’ve almost always (90% of the time) received variation #1. Finally version #1 looks good for August but they send me a different one. I’d have even loved version 2, but noooo.😒

I REALLY hope BoxyLuxe does not have variations. It’s the only reason I haven’t unsubscribed after getting stuff I don’t like month after month. In fact, since we’ll pay extra for Luxe, we should at least be able to choose our variations. 🙏🙏🙏

I’m getting the lashes and am thrilled to be in sub heaven… I just got the hang of them from the first pair we got and was being extra, extra careful. Cleaning & putting back in box. So glad I got a CoverFX matte primer with the FFF sale and then the Becca backlight with QVC TILI (same size I believe) so this is fine for me. I also got a Tarte amazon lash with the QVC box (a mini) & I finally bought a sample of the fabled Better than Sex from Sephora. .. I have my pops of color and my muted mattes shadow. Who could ask for anything more? How quickly one can get product overload, so I made a box up and still keeping one and a spare… I also have been killing it on the Sigma brush sales. I see the right tool makes all the difference. I’m cutting out Ipsy and Beautyfix next month so I can get the Luxe if I am able. With the Luxor, Beauty Heroes, Allure & Boxy.. I can sit my wallet down and stay on budget.

I’m getting the Boudoir lashes. Pretty bummed because lashes were the one thing I didn’t want. 👎

Mine was missing the Becca of course! I only stayed for that so hopefully they send it separately bc I’d like to take a break in September.

I ordered an extra box last month for the bum bum cream and started a friend of mine we didn’t get neither one of them last month they told us we would get them this month so you’ll have to wait a month before you get that and then they told me that if it wouldn’t fit in the Box they have to ship it separately but I have not seen anything

I am too for resubbing in July. Let us know if you get it. The Becca was offered in the August box for those who resubbed for July and August but they are offering it in the September box for referrals I believe.

There are no words to describe my excitement. Forget my August box, give me the September!!!! Ahhh I love that palette… perfect for my blue-green eyes. I also loved the shades in the Crown palette, particularly the orange-gold shimmer (love!). It’s very not pigmented which is great for natural looks and seems to work better on my complexion than the Alamar palette which I was super excited to get (until it didn’t work well on my skin tone).

Ah, months like this is why I love Boxycharm. I wish I had more people to give away products I’m not using! I am an eyeshadow junkie though. Haha. I hope they do another colourpop palette too. I got one that was all shimmer and I’m not terribly excited about, but I would love to try a Colourpop palette. I always wanted to try one of the Pretty Vulgar palettes. So happy.

I agree, i couldnt wait for the fall and winter seasons of the subscriptions boexes… i like the dark colors that will look good for the seasons that are coming

I’ve been subbed for a year and didn’t get an email about the luxe box. After finding out that it’s more like fabfitfun “lifestyle” stuff and its more than twice the price of the normal box I’m not really sure I want it. $21 is awesome for the regular box…I can’t go into Sephora and walk out with more than like a lipstick (and not even my favorite lipstick) but I could get pretty much any decent palette or two smaller items of my choosing for $50.

There’s no might about it. They’ve already said there won’t be enough for everyone. They’re expecting a fast sellout. They’ve also still not fixed the problem of ppl buying a bunch of boxes and others getting none like what happened with the L.E. box so yeah, ppl are gonna be upset. Plenty of ppl are staying subbed just to try and get the luxe box in September. If they can’t get it they’ll quit. They’re hyping it so hard and they know and have said they don’t have enough to go around. Some ppl will get to buy several and some will get none. Yeah ppl are going to be mad.

They actually said it’s $28.99 more than your regular sub, so those months you will be billed $49.99 instead of the $21. Will they make us race to resub to Luxe every time, or once you’re in, you’re in until you choose to drop it? My impression is it’s an upgrade to your regular box that happens every 3 months.

I too have loved all the Pretty Vulgar they’ve sent us. I know we had that amazing black gel eyeliner, a blush, and I thought either a lipstick or a mascara, or both? Reaching back now…anyway, I’m looking forward to this palette.

I would have LOVED the Pretty Birdie palette, especially for that red, but I think some people would have had actual heart attacks if there were two colorful palettes in a row. Since it had to be a neutral palette, I’m glad they at least went with the cool toned one.

Hmmmn.. I am feeling that pretty birdie but I did just buy Pat McGrath mini… I don’t have the nerve. do I? I can’t believe how much Boxy has me buying palettes…. oh top of what I get… lol.. but I like the green and purple.

I agree that they could have given the others out too. Just as with the LL palettes there’s no reason, except maybe financial ones, to only offer the one palette. To make more ppl potentially happy they could’ve put both LL palettes in the Aug box which would have allowed for swaps afterward. Same thing here – the other PV bird palettes are gorgeous imo. They’re more colorful than this one but the colors are much more muted than what’s in the LL palette. I think giving variants with palettes isn’t a bad thing bc they’re all the same thing, the same price, etc. It’s the variants where some ppl get a palette, some ppl get skin care, others get a lipstick, etc that cause the biggest problems imo.

I think it is awesome!!!!! I honestly did not like the patlettes since I signed up in March….. palettes were way too bright, and at my age, would so not be my go to palette. I am excited to get this palette!!!!

All of PV palettes reference birds. A tern is a type of bird. It’s in a lot of crossword puzzles. I think it’s intentional.

It doesn’t appear to be a misprint because it’s the same spelling on Sephora. But I noticed it right away too.
