BoxyCharm August 2018 Possible FULL SPOILERS Box Variation #1

Ugh, I got a Smashbox liquid lip in “Shockaholic” – a shade that their site describes as “bright pink”. Sephora doesn’t carry it and smashbox.com listed it as ‘out of stock’. FWIW, I threw a coat of Lipstick Queen’s “Frog Prince” color change gloss over it and got a nice-ish candy pink.

It’s a matte, and not super-bright, but I’m iffy about it as a light-skinned redhead. I have to wonder if subscription organizations go around and beg for what they can get, which is why all the hard-to-wear colors.

It applied easily and feels okay, but that’s really about it.

I had wanted the palette.

The eyelash set I got is called “siren” (blue box). It’s not a strip, but groups of lashes. Great. I haven’t even used regular false lashes yet, so now I got one that requires skills?

Also got the Wander eye patches. I’ve got like 6 packs of them now between this and other boxes. Can’t use them because I’m on a strict regimen for what could be an eczema breakout. The dermatologist PA said “like eczema”, but I’m not sure if she meant like as in similar or like as in for example.

Eye palette will require contemplation. Liner looks nice, and cuticle oil I will have to look up how to use.

I am getting this variation. What palette do you all think we’ll get? I see three different versions on their website

I’m so hoping that I DON’T get box 1 there is nothing in this box that I like at all but the palette. Now I LOVE LOVE BOXYCHARM, but really and truly I WANT THE TRIPLE LIPPIE FROM SMASHBOX, AND THE BECCA ITEM. Wonder when they are going to price BOXYLUXE

LL palette would look gorgeous on dark skin. Then incorporating the last two palettes for their mattes would totally mesh everything together. I’m a tan Cambodian and used last months palette at work (with a light hand lol) and my boss and fellow employees thought I was going out after work just for me to say that “yes I was going for that look today but no, going home after work. Over the top shadow looks can be conversation starters. Never get variation #1 but excited nonetheless

For all the ones who is disappointed with false lashes, cut them in half and use them as accent lashes! I absolutely SUCK at applying false lashes, but this way makes it quick and easy while still making such a huge difference.

Please no lashes. Please no lashes. Everything else I love and would be THRILLED with but I do not do fake lashes lol… and they were JUST in a box.

I’d be happy with this variation! I’m excited about the eye masks, mascara, and cuticle oil. And I’m really hoping for a neutral lip of some sort.

Re: BoxyLuxe… I’m worried that it’s a bit of a misnomer… ? Back in June they asked if they should call it Boxy Plus or Boxy Luxe…. I feel like Plus implies just more products, whereas Luxe implies luxury brands.

Two totally different things, IMHO…

I only resubbed back in April but I have gotten 1 and 2 both equally. I am thinking I’ll probably get variation 2 this month if there are a lot of variations. This seems to be a really great box but it could go either way. I could end up with a brown liquid lippie and more lashes/primer. Right now I’m super excited though. I’m honestly not upset by the variation either. This is about the most I can stand but it’s done more fairly than last month. Everyone gets the hero product, the palette, and also everyone gets a smashbox lip product. I suspect everyone will get wander under eye gels which I am excited about.

I should get this box again. It’s been really good for months now. The house of lashes is a real treat! I normally buy them on sale, I have too many, but never enough of them. lol

The palette is out there, but it’s nice to have some items with different colors. Also, I’m a chick that has dark blue hair lol and wears too much glitter.

Even though the bright colors in the LL palette are not exactly wearable everyday for most people I am super excited for this one because I like to pack bright colors on top of my eyeliner. You can make incredibly, high pigmented eyeliner using this technique.

I’m hoping I get one of the single lip products. Lip palettes are not user friendly for me. I want something I can swipe across my lips quickly for touchups. I have been wanting to try the Wander Eye Masks, so I’m hoping I love them! I never get tired of trying mascara’s either. Cuticle oil sounds fun. I do home manicures because I am terrified of getting nail fungus from salon’s. I wouldn’t say this is the best box ever; but, it has some potential winners in there for me! I swap or sell anything that is not for me, so it’s never a bust if I end up not liking much.

So far this box is looking good. I see a lot of people don’t want the bright colored palette but I’m actually looking forward to it. We get too many neutral palettes. And I hope that bang beauty product is a blush because last month’s blush didn’t even show up on my skin. I hope I get the primer and that triple color smashbox lipstick

I’m hoping I don’t get this variation. I want the primer and anything but the lip palette. I’m swimming in mascaras, and have yet to use the last two sets of lashes we received. Luckily, it looks like I’ll have an easy enough time trading the lip palette if I get it! However, I’m very happy about the eye palette and the masks. I’d love to try a cuticle oil, and that’s something very different from Boxy’s normal which I’m happy about. Can’t wait to find out what the bang product is, but everything on their site looks good! Overall this box looks to be a winner.

I really wish there weren’t variants. I kinda want ‘this is the box’. Unless I’m choosing an item. Lots here I don’t think I will use. But I have two daughters 9 and 14 most thingswill get used or tried out. I never end up getting what I really want out of the variants. And I always get a lippie that isn’t a shade that works well for me. But for $21, it’s still a good deal. I just hate wasting that much stuff

I really hope I get the mascara. I don’t like lashes at all. I can’t wear them. That looks like a bang beauty cream color. I don’t mind that. The only thing I’m really excited about is the palette.

“WOW” seems to be alot of Negitive Nancy’s…Come on its a $21 box, less if you’ve a 3mth or better subscription. Boxy cant please everyone everytime however they do thier best. Cancel if you feel you need to and take your $21. to Wal-Mart and see what you get. Its ok not to like every product and the products I know I wont use I save and give as gifts to my neices (Birthdays and Christmas) and are definatly appreciative……this brings a smile to my face seeing thier excitement. Just because you dont like some items, dont ruin it for all the others that are totally excited to get thier hands on this box.

Ok I’m clueless, please help. I must have missed something…What is BoxyLuxe or LuxeBox?? Where and when did y’all hear about this? I would love to go back and see what I missed.

The mascara is my favorite. Smashbox lippies are my favorite. The palette is super cool. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the mascara.

I really hope I don’t get the lashes, I haven’t even used the ones from the June box. I’m not super impressed for this boxy. My payment declined, which I’m kinda glad so I can wait until I see the other spoiler’s.
But I’m very excited for my Yes oh Yas! Box.

I like everything, I just want BECCA AND THE TRIPLE LIPPIE LIPSTICK. PLEASE NO FALSE EYELASHES OR THE MASCARA. But I will try the LauraLee eyeshadow, in a way it’s very pretty. But I don’t do lashes, and the triple LIPPIE from what I saw was very pretty. So I’M HOPING I GET THAT PLEASE OH PLEASE!!!! THANKS!!!!

I’ll start off by saying I love boxy charm for $21 you get great items. I don’t even mind getting variants but is it just me or does it seem like Boxy is cleaning out their excess drawers to fill these past couple of months 😒😂

I’ve never tried a lip palette before. It looks really cool I love to try it out. So I hope I get this variation although I already did get the ncla cuticle oil before. My daughter spilled it so I didn’t get to use it. So fingers crossed for this variation!!

I so loved July especially the skin care items. After two years I cancelled after the first three spoilers. I don’t do bright eyeshadow, we just got lashes in June box and mascara in July box. I am still also using the Cover Fx primer from a few boxes ago. I am on product overload. Boxycharm is a great value. I hope September box will be better.
