Unboxing The Bizarre Bibliotheca Box June 2018 Review

Guess what? There’s a holiday specifically for celebrating the Beatles! Global Beatles Day is June 25! Fun!

Ticket to Ride: Inside the Beatles’ 1964 Tour That Changed the World by Larry Kane – Retail Value $24.99 (found here for $19)

I do like the Beatles, but I am not a super fan like so many people around the world. Even so, I found this book really interesting to read. The author is an American journalist, and the only American journalist to have traveled with the Beatles on every stop of their North American tour. It’s a very thorough history of the tour, and also weaves in some history of what the world was like at that time, and the influence the Beatles had on the world. It also has a really cool bonus CD with lots of rare interview material. I think any Beatles fan would love to have this. I also consider myself pretty knowledgeable on the topic of rock music, and there was a lot of new information in this book for me. Awesome!

A Hard Day's Night Magnetic Bookmark

A Hard Day’s Night Magnetic Bookmark – Retail Value $5.99

I have never seen a magnetic bookmark before, but what a neat idea! It is made of two magnetic strips that cling to each other through the page(s)! Very cool! I also really like this classic Beatles graphic. Although I always wondered, why didn’t they call it “A Hard Night’s Work”? Maybe that would have doomed them to mediocrity, I don’t know.

Beatles Recycled Messenger Tote – Retail Value $16.99

This messenger bag is also super fab! It is made of recycled materials, I want to say paper and plastic because it has that indestructible recycled paper feel to it. It measures 16″ x 5″ x 15″, and the strap is adjustable. I love how colorful it is, and the images on it really cover the many different styles of the Beatles in their relatively brief existence.

The Verdict: This was another awesome box from Bizarre Bibliotheca Box! My first two boxes from them have centered around Star Wars and The Beatles – how can you go wrong with that? The book this month was really interesting, the bookmark is super handy, and I just love the messenger bag! I am sure I will use all three things!

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No, if you order by 8/10, you will get the September box. Boxes ship the last week of the month.

Value Breakdown: The total retail value of this month’s box is $47.97. At $28.98 for this box ($19.99 a month plus $8.99 shipping), here’s what you are paying approximately per item:

  • Book:$15.10
  • Bookmark: $3.62
  • Messenger Tote: $10.26

  1. I wish they had spoilers for what the next holiday will be.

    • Thank you Cristina for the feedback. We did do this with one of our old box lines. We may consider doing it again for this one. We appreciate feedback as it helps us get to know our audiences better.

    • Me too, the obscure holidays make this fun but I’m not into total surprises that much.
