The Soap Shack’s The Soap Club June 2018 Review

Cool Down Eucalyptus & Peppermint Soap, 3.5 oz

Cool Down Eucalyptus & Peppermint Soap, 3.5 oz – Retail Value $6.50

I decided to choose my soap scents for the month of June and will switch to “Surprise me” for the upcoming months. Eucalyptus and peppermint are one of my all-time favorite scent combinations. I love it in candles, bubble bath, lotions… basically, if I can get my hands on it I will try to do so. I could immediately smell this when I opened up the box, which excited me because I want my body products strongly scented. The high heat and humidity of the Louisiana summer have been miserable, so this zesty and refreshing scent is exactly what I want to reach for after a long day. The shape of the soap makes it the perfect size to hold easily, and it lathered well without diminishing quickly in size. I really appreciate the quality of the products used in this, because this is a sturdy bar of soap that will hold up without falling apart.

Vacation Coconut and Lime Verbena Soap, 3.5 oz – Retail Value $6.50

In terms of quality, this soap has the same great quality as its eucalyptus cousin. I love citrus, and the lime scent marries perfectly with the coconut to have me imagining I am on a nice beach vacation. The stripe of glitter on top was a really delightful touch, too. Another neat thing is that the labels for all soaps are made out of seeded paper, so you can plant them and be surprised by wildflowers and herbs! I love those little extra details that add to the overall product experience.

The Verdict: I enjoyed my first month of The Soap Club from The Soap Shack! The scents of the bath products were really stellar, and the fact that The Soap Shack only uses food-grade quality oils and butters is evident when using the soap. I am excited to see what scents are chosen to surprise me next month, and these soaps leave me wanting to try more products from The Soap Shack line.

To Wrap Up:

Can you get this box if you sign up today? These scents look to be still available, so you can select them when you start your subscription!

Value Breakdown: This box costs $12.95 and I received two bars of soap. It is essentially like getting the cost of shipping for free by subscribing!

I am a staunch believer that pineapple doesn’t belong on pizza and when I’m not working as a family law attorney I enjoy hiking the Louisiana trails (alligator sightings are a favorite!) or relaxing with Duchess, my cat. I’m a sucker for anything labeled a mystery box and I’ve never met a bath bomb I didn’t like.

  1. Ok I get it now. The Spoil me box is $30. and that is where you get more than just soap.

  2. I can’t seem to find where the different scents available for this subscription are listed. How many were there to choose from? On their website there are 38 different scents but I would like to know if they are all available to choose from in this box. Does anyone have that information?

    • Hi Cas!
If you click the link to the soap club and hit subscribe now, you will be taken to the page where the scents are listed. This is before you enter any payment information, so you aren’t actually subscribing yet. By my count they gave 20 different scents of soap to choose from!

  3. Put this on my radar!

  4. I got the full size box in the pineapple scent and it smells amazing! I love that they send different things, I got foaming soap, 2 shower bombs and a bar of soap

    • You got this for The cost of the subscription? So it isn’t just 2 bars of soap every month because it is just me and I can’t use that much soap up to justify this box yet I want it.

      • Michelle, They have two different subscriptions. One is just for 2 bars of soap and the one I got I believe is $29.99 for all different bath products. You get to pick from like 5 different themes (scent profiles). This one was foodie

  5. I love yummy smelling soap, this sounds like it could be a really good box.

  6. This seems to be a decent price box. I have been looking in stores and seeing at least this price and not all natural.
