Now, on to the items!

Clean & Clear Night Relaxing Jelly Eye Sheet Mask – Value $2.59

This is a sheet mask for upper half of your face! It’s soothing and designed to be used before bed as a nice stress-reducing self-care treatment. I found the mask to be a nice hydrating treat!

Tresemme Repair & Protect 7 Mask – Retail Value $1.99

This is a quick hair mask (3-4 minutes) designed for damaged hair. I could definitely tell a difference my hair hydration/softness the next day, but it also weighed down my hair – just a heads up!

NIVEA Foaming Silk Mousse Body Wash – FULL SIZE! Retail Value $6.49

This is a body wash mousse – the foam is a nice alternative to the typical gel body wash formula. The only downside for me was that I was expecting it to be more moisturizing – but I couldn’t tell any difference in skin hydration after I rinsed it off.

HASK Coconut Dry Shampoo – 75 ml Value $1.51

This hits all the dry shampoo marks I look for: goes on clear, absorbs oil well, and smells great! (The scent is coconut!)

SheaMoisture African Black Soap & Charcoal Body Scrub – 2 oz Value $3.66

This body scrub is creamy and very gentle. In fact, it’s less gritty than the face scrub in this box! If you’re looking for a gentle, everyday body scrub, this is a good one. But if you like a body scrub that provides a good amount of exfoliation, I wouldn’t recommend it.

Acure Brilliantly Brightening Facial Scrub – 1 oz Value $2.50

I love this ingredient-conscious brand and I love this scrub – but I have to warn you, it is pretty abrasive! The exfoliation is great, but I wouldn’t recommend it if you have sensitive skin.

Up&Up 3 Day Whitening Strips Kit – Value $5.79

This set includes 3 packets, each have an upper and lower strip:

And the ingredients are almost identical to Crest 3D Whitening Strips! (I couldn’t tell much of a difference with one set, but I like to use these every month or so to help combat against tea stains on my teeth.)

And the kit also came with a $5

Verdict: This box has a value of about $24.53. That’s great for a $7 Target beauty box, plus the $3 beauty coupon always adds value to me. Not every product was a hit for me this month, but I’m still happy with the value.

To Wrap Up:

Value Breakdown: At $7 for the box, here is what you are paying per item:

  • Eye Sheet Mask: $.74
  • Hair Mask: $.57
  • Nivea Body Wash: $1.85
  • Dry Shampoo: $.43
  • Body Scrub: $1.04
  • Facial Scrub: $.71
  • Whitening Strips: $1.65

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? No. Make sure to sign up for the My Subscription Addiction daily newsletter so you don’t miss the next one!

  1. I was just snooping around to see if there were anything about an August box today and realized I hadn’t seen the July box – I was on vacation in a remote location and totally missed the July box’s release and review of it. It looks fantastic!!! Arg! Congrats to those who snagged one!

  2. This Target box was wonderful. I have only the Nivea body mousse.
Otherwise, I agree with Liz on every product. Thank you Liz. I always look forward to your reviews

  3. I finally got around to trying the nivea today, and Liz is right, it is not very hydrating, But it does make a great shaving cream.

    • Great idea. I tried it once so far and prefer a lather wash. So a shaving cream would be perfect.

  4. Target is absolutely one of my favorite sub box. I like it because everyone gets the same items (minimum variation time to time with lip colors or scents, etc.) . I also like it because if I can find a dupe of high-end products, it is such a great discovery. But at a rate that I buy my beauty items, I might not have to buy anything for a long time…

As to dry shampoo… I thought I would never use it, but I actually do. Not on the regular basis, but if I am just pressed with time and don’t want to wash my hair, it is perfect. I keep a small one at my office for quick touch up when I am going out after work. I have also read other uses for dry shampoo like to use as shoe deodorizer in pinch. Cool idea.

  5. I used that mask last night and told my boyfriend how happy I am to try new things with Target boxes because I would be pissed if I paid full price for that mask. It didn’t really seem to have enough serum(although the package did?) and just covering half the face seemed dumb. My face felt no different after using it and the relaxing scent was very light. Plus, it didn’t scare my bf at all. As for the coupon- turns out the $3 off worked on buying a hair brush dryer the other day! That with the 25% off on Tuesday and I got a hair brush dryer for $12. Awesome!

    • I agree. I used mask tonight. And felt weird only covering have my face. I like hydrating masks to use on my whole face. My upper face feels soft the bottom doesn’t and the left over serum wasn’t enough to rub into my whole face.

  6. Dry shampoo is the diggedy bomb! I love them.

  7. I really loved this box, it’s so much better than the last few months! I hope Target keeps it up.

  8. Nice! Looking forward to trying the eye mask.

And maybe I should finally try out a dry shampoo to see why they are so popular now. 😊

    • I always gave my dry shampoos away. I wash my hair everyday. Soft and fine no volume. I started using them between blow drying and curling/flattening. It really helps texturize my hair. I stockpile them now.

      • I also used to always give my dry shampoos away since I don’t have an oily scalp, I wash my hair regularly, and my hair is fairly poofy on its own, but one day I was a little too heavy handed with some mousse and my hair was feeling a bit filmy by the end of the day, but I didn’t want to wash it again since I had just washed it that morning, so I took a chance and sprayed some dry shampoo in my loose hair, then brushed it through, and it was like I had not only just washed my hair because it felt so light & clean, but it also felt like I had just blow dried it too, because it was so soft and way less frizzy! I was an immediate convert that day, and now I have my own little stockpile going on too. 🙂 Even though my hair can get big on its own, I still like to use it daily because it helps contain flyaways & keep the frizz at bay (this goes for texturizing sprays & salt sprays too!)

      • Thanks for tip! It sounds like I have similar hair…big, wavy, and frizzy. I’ve been giving away my dry shampoo too. I tend to use oils and serums to tame my hair but I’m going to give this dry shampoo a try.
