Stitch Fix is a monthly clothing and styling subscription service. When you initially sign up, you take an in-depth survey that asks you about your clothing size, personal style, and price preferences. They also ask you a few questions about your pregnancy such as due date and how you like to style your bump. Your stylist handpicks five items based on your preferences within the survey. The fee for this service is $20, and that includes free shipping as well as free returns. If you keep any of the items they send you, you get to deduct the $20 fee from the total. If you keep all five items, you also get a 25% discount!

Stitch Fix Maternity Clothing Box July 2018 Review
Each box comes with a free return bag. All you have to do is package up anything you want to return and send it back. Super easy!
This is the invoice that was sent in the box. As you can see, it provides specifics on the brand, size, and price of each item. They also give instructions at the bottom for how to check out and either purchase or return your items. My total came to $362, but with the 25% off (which they take off BEFORE deducting the $20!) and the $20 credit, my total drops down to $251.50. That’s a savings of $110.50 on these items!
This is the included style sheet which includes a note from my stylist. This is always super helpful to see how you can use each piece in a full outfit! I am currently 6 months pregnant, chasing around an active toddler, so I need light and easy pieces to keep me cool in the summer. Let's see what Stitch Fix sent!
Loveappella Elijah Maternity Open Back Knit Maxi Dress, Size L - Cost to Keep $78
I wasn't thrilled with the pattern of this dress at first, but after trying it on I fell in love! I normally shy away from prints during my pregnancy because they seem to draw more attention to parts of my body that I would like to not call attention to. However, this dress had a great bit of stretch to it while still being snug in all of the right places. It showed off my bump and has the cute open back detail that is great for summer. I thought the colors were great and brought out my "just back from the beach" tan. The dress is extremely comfortable and just moved with my body. I can't wait to wear this again!
Gilli Shay Maternity Maxi Dress, Size L - Cost to Keep $78
This dress looked like it would be a bit snug when I first pulled it out of the box, but it ended up fitting like a dream. Again, there is a ton of stretch in both the top and bottom of this dress so it moves with your growing bump. The pattern is a bit loud for me, but I loved the overall fit and comfort that this dress provides. It is perfect for the summer and could easily take you into the fall with a lightweight jacket. While it isn't exactly my style and ended up being a return, I could see this being someone's go-to maternity dress this summer!
Gilli Ryland Maternity 2fer Maxi Dress, Size L - Cost to Keep $78
I swear I owned this dress in the 90s when I was little only the top was denim. I love how sleek I felt when I put this dress on while still being able to move comfortably. The top is very flattering even though I normally don't love a tight sleeve like this. Black is my go-to color so I appreciated having a more slimming color on the top of this bold dress. The bottom portion is fun and airy with lots of room for my bump to grow. Again, I could see myself wearing this dress now and into the fall with a light jacket. What a find!
Thyme Maternity Rafa Maternity Nursing Panel Maxi Dress, Size L - Cost to Keep $70
I see maternity/nursing clothing all of the time, but I have never bought any, even during my first pregnancy. I was excited to try this piece on and see that you really can easily nurse with the open panel at the bust (all you have to do is flip that panel up to nurse). The dress is form fitting with a great amount of stretch, but I think my main concern with buying dresses to wear after my pregnancy is that the dress is going to be completely stretched out. I noticed that with a lot of my first pregnancy maternity clothes that I kept, so I would imagine that this dress wouldn't last me too long after before it is too big to wear even though it is great to have when nursing. Overall though, I love the colors of this dress and the ease of it all making it perfect for summer. I haven't decided if I am going to keep this piece but I do really love it!
Kaileigh Kingston Maternity Knit Maxi Dress, Size L - Cost to Keep $58
I love anything green, but I just did not fall in love with this dress like I thought I would. It is super stretchy and comfortable! It has that lightweight design that I love while still being fashionable. I could dress this up to go out for a dinner date with my husband or wear it with sandals to the park with my son. However, I just thought the top was a bit unflattering making everything seem a bit larger. I wish the cut worked a bit better for me, though, because I am still completely in love with this color!
The Verdict: This month's Stitch Fix was a big improvement from last month's! With the weather reaching almost 90 most days, I need something lightweight so that I can run around after my toddler in. However, I don't want to sacrifice my love of fashion in this heat, I like to keep the bump stylish! I am always adding different dress maternity styles to my Pinterest board and left notes for my stylists requesting mainly dresses. This is the first month that it finally happened and I could not be happier! While all of the styles weren't winners, I was still very excited to try each of the pieces on and really thought they all were great. The only reason why I sent certain dresses back was simply that of fit or the pattern was a bit too loud for my personal taste, but they were all beautiful in their own way. This box has made me excited again to try new maternity pieces and for my next Stitch Fix to arrive!
