Sock Panda is a monthly sock subscription service. With each shipment, you'll receive a new selection of quality socks from their own house brand with plenty of eye-catching colors and unique designs.

Sock Panda Sock of the Month Package

According to the Sock Panda site, this subscription's products are made in a family-run factory in Lima, Peru. Sock Panda is committed to making the world a better place—for every subscription purchased, they donate socks to communities in need. (As of October 2015, they had already donated 50,000 socks!)

Sock Panda offers subscriptions for men, women, tweens, and kids ages 3-8. When you sign up, you'll pick some style preferences (Wild & Crazy, Patterns & Prints, or One of Each) and note whether you'd like to receive one or two pairs per month.

This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

This review is of the Women's 2-pair "One of Each" subscription ($19 a month).

Sock Panda Women's Sock Subscription June 2018 Review

You can subscribe to get either one or two pairs from Sock Panda every month. We get one pair of "wild & crazy" and one of "patterns & prints", but you can choose to get one or the other if you prefer.

"Patterns & prints" is generally a little tamer; some of the "wild & crazy" socks get pretty out there! It's always a treat to see what they've come up with each month since the socks are exclusive to Sock Panda.

Sock Panda Peruvian Cotton Socks

Both pairs are a blend of 85% Peruvian cotton, 10% nylon, and 5% spandex. It's a nice and generally pretty lightweight blend, though it depends a bit on how detailed the design is. (The more colors and detail, the thicker the sock.)

This is our Wild & Crazy pair this month! I actually think this might be my favorite pair of Sock Panda socks, ever.

Sock Panda Marimekko-like design

I love the organic shapes and the retro colors. This print totally reminds me of Marimekko designs!

Blue and Red Socks by Sock Panda

Even though they look sort of ladybug-ish, I think these are super stylized acorns. The big leaf shapes look oaky to me. What do you think?

Either way - I love these. I wish I could have a dress with this print!

Tulip Socks by Sock Panda

Our patterned pair this month is definitely a little more traditional, featuring a tulip ditsy print.

My first impression of these was that they were way less my personal style, but I'm appreciating them more as time goes on. The diamond cuffs add a bit of funky retro style.

Sock Panda Tulip Socks

Sock Panda socks are definitely a nice quality and have washed and worn well for me over time. The cut is also a bit more generous, I think, than other sock subscriptions, with their crew style tending to be a bit taller. I'm 5' tall and these hit me on the high calf but still squarely below the knee, whereas other sock subscriptions tend to hit me more mid- or lower-calf.

The Verdict: This month's Sock Panda subscription was a fun mix. I am totally in love with the unique red white and blue pair! You're always guaranteed something unique since Sock Panda does all their design and manufacture themselves. Plus, each subscription donates socks to those in need, making this sock club a fun and responsible choice if looking for a fun gift idea.

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? You might not get this exact set if you place your order today.

Value Breakdown: This subscription cost me $20.00 total for two pairs of socks (price + US shipping), meaning each pair is $10.00. While that is more than a pack of basic black crew socks might run you, for fun & patterned sock subscription boxes, their prices are comparable. Plus, Sock Panda donates socks to those in need for every subscription purchased.
