Rachel Zoe Box of Style Fall 2018 Box FULL SPOILERS + Coupon!

Random but what is that rug in the first picture?? It is GORGEOUS

I’m really bummed about the quality of this box going downhill, this Fall box is so not worth the price. The fully acrylic capelet can be duped in both style and fabric for around $25 from any discount/fast fashion type store, at least last years black and white one was a quality fabric. It’s insulting that they put a price tag over $200 on this thing. The serum is amazing, the necklace while pretty isn’t worth the stated retail value and the no-name mascara is meh. Also the belt that can literally be found at TJX type discount stores. All in all the items aren’t bad but they aren’t high quality and are worth nowhere NEAR the stated retail values. I’m canceling now and I’ll keep an eye on this to see if things improve. At least they are offering different sizes, the two kimonos they’re sent have gone to my daughter even though I liked them because the sizing didn’t work, there are women into high fashion who aren’t size 2’s RZ! So glad I cancelled Box of Style. Their boxes have become less and less interesting. Their customer service sucks too! I tried to cancel and they wouldn’t respond to me for weeks. Then they charged me even though I had proof that I said I wanted to cancel! Had to reach out to my credit card company and report fraud!

Forgot to cancel. HORRIBLE BOX! Ughhh

After the Winter 2017 debacle I cancelled my annual sub for BOS – it took 5 weeks and multiple emails to their absent customer service. I reactivated to get the Summer Box which I loved. Then I cancelled in July and received a quick confirmation and was actually impressed with CS this time. And yesterday I received both the charge for the fall box and a confirmation email of my order!

I immediately emailed and received another speedy response that they had no record of my cancellation. Sent them the email confirming cancellation and am now waiting for a response. I don’t want this box, don’t need this box and am not going to pay for this box. And will never be lured by one good BOS again. 🙁

I signed up as a new member for the Fall box on Aug 10th, selected my items, etc. Just received two emails tonight Aug 14th, after biz hours, one pending cancellation, and the next your sub order is canceled. Weird. It must be fate as I’m not about to beg for a box.

I’m glad I read the comments here about Box of Style’s customer service so I knew what I was getting into when I subscribed. I got an email on the 8th that said I needed to cancel by the 14th. I received my summer box on the 12th and cancelled on the same day. I look at my account and it says I was billed for the fall box on the 9th, almost a week before they said I would be billed, and completely contradicting the email they sent the day before. This is so bizarre!

Again, I’m glad I knew that Box of Style has iffy if not downright shady customer service, and I was prepared to put a stop payment on my credit card if I see the charge pop up. Then again, I don’t detest the fall box and I wouldn’t go cry in a corner if getting my money back turns out to be too much of a pain. Which I guess is exactly what Box of Style wants.

I had checked recently to see when the fall box billing date was it said 8/15. I had been waiting for the summer box to arrive before canceling but was billed on 8/9/18. I wish they didn’t do things that make me feel like they’re so sketchy but they also have an F rating on BBB site so who knows.

I’m not going to be put out by the $99 charge but I’m sure some people count on the blling being an exact date. I’m just bothered that they seem to not care so much once they have your money the box ships late etc and their customer service is pretty dreadful.

Maybe it’s because I only grab a couple of sub boxes every year and I adore capes, shawls, etc., the Bordeaux Capelet is a winner for me. I will always say yes to Caudalie, and mascara, while not exactly thrilling, will not go to waste. Personally can’t wait for tassels to disappear, it all reminds me of the green drapes dress from Gone With the Wind. Luckily, the Capelet looks like it can be fixed with a few snips, the necklace is hopeless.

Love the cape it’s gorgeous. I generally love most of their boxes with the exception of the winter boxes which always are a bit to glam with large jewelry items that I’d never wear. I’m hoping to grab the cape in a swap or on ebay, not really worth it for gold toned jewelry/belt loop. For a stylist Zoe should know some of us cool toned women just can’t pull off gold at all.

I signed up for the summer box at a deep discount, but I think I’ll get this one as well! Yes, two items are si liar to fab fit fun options from a while ago, but there are only so many sub box type items in the world! And the fff ruana (which was NOT a poncho) was such poor quality I never wore it outside the house, the fabric felt like movers blankets! This looks much nicer.

Besides, the fact that Rachel Zoe is offering two sizes of belt, one which will fit and look nice on my 42” waist, means a lot! Fab fit fun responded to questions about what sizes the belt would fit with “well, it’s 44” long” as though they couldn’t imagine anyone would be too large to fit a belt which needs a good 8” of spare material at a minimum wouldn’t fit that.

Am I going to wear this belt to the ren faire because it’s an actual medieval sword belt? Heck yes. But I’m still stoked it’s available in my size.

Trying to cancel but not getting a response. Anyone had luck canceling lately? I am worried they won’t respond in time and will bill me. I don’t want this box. 🙁

Anybody having trouble with Add Ons? I’m an annual member and I’m not able to view or select any Add-Ons. I’ve been able to purchase before but now it says I have to be a member for Add Ons.

I am so excited about this box! Mostly because I am currently running out of the Vinoperfect serum and was just about to buy more from Sephora. It’s the only thing that I’ve tried that has done a decent job of fading my sunspots! Now it’s like I get the serum along with a bunch of freebies that I will definitely use.

That cape is going to look so cute with skinny jeans, booties and my black floppy hat 😍 Additionally, that belt is different than the one offered by FFF because the buckle is gold instead of silver (which made FFF’s look cheap imo).

I actually really like this box. It’s not at all in my budget but maybe if I have patience for the box to go really, really on sale…

Darn! So if this box is a miss, and PopSugar is a miss, what’s worth holding out for?? I’m getting FFF because except for the jewelry the contents tend to have decent quality, but I’m looking for something that would really feel like being spoiled lol. Maybe will have to wait until winter.

I cancelled the day after I received my summer box back due to not really liking the quality of the products. I am now getting emails wanting me to select my items for the Fall Box. I did receive a confirmation email on my cancel. Has anyone had trouble cancelling this box? I tried to remove my credit card info but it won’t allow me to.

Hi all – the Winter Box 2017, barely arrived before Winter was over. BOS needs some better planning and project management on these offers. I don’t believe they validate the ability of their suppliers to have enough stock to support-hence the delays. I’m not sure what box this was in but did anyone have the “gold’, actually brass LaSoula rings. They replaced mine twice…literally turned green with one wearing. Can you say “not curated’.

Their CS has ignored 2 emails and one Insta DM about my still not shipped Summer box. Not impressed. Worried they might not ship before the Aug 15th cancellation cutoff and I really don’t want the Fall box.

I just finished my annual sub and cancelled. I agree with others who have said the contents are too similar to items that have shown up in other boxes.

Um, so, can you cancel before your previous box has shipped? I ordered the previous box last week. Who knows when it will ship. If it ships after August 15, am I on the hook for this box?

I guess there are worse things in life but I’d really not pay 100 for this one.

It’s…fine, but there’s just nothing new here to grab my attention. I really like the necklace, but not enough to bother w/the whole box. Mascara? Yawn. This will be the third BoS I’ve passed on.

That time BOS came up with no ideas of their own and just redid FFF’s 2017…

I like it! Happily, I’m a huge fan of capes. I use my FFF one constantly! (And my daughter steals it frequently!) So it will actually be nice to have an alternate in a different color. The necklace happens to be my style. I like gold, I like layered and I like crystals. I suspect this will become a regular date night item. I can always use a serum.

I’m not a fan of including mascara. And I agree with everyone about the belt. If I didn’t want it from FFF for $5, then I really don’t want it! My only complaint here is that they should keep a closer eye on their competitor boxes. They should have known that many folks in their target audience just saw this belt in their FFF edit sale.

All that said, I will definitely use enough of the items to make this one worthwhile. When my annual sub ends, though, I will def go quarter to quarter.

Does anyone know if the summer box is still for sale?
