Happy Mail June 2018 Review

“Today Is For Making Things Happen” Print

As always, there’s a print included among the cards and other goodies. This one has a positive message, which is the usual vibe, and would go well in an office, bedroom, bathroom, or anywhere you may need a boost of motivation.

YOLO Postcard

I imagine this postcard is the one you send from a really random location and it’d say something like “I moved to Iceland and got married! Come to visit sometime!” to really hit home the fact that You Only Live Once. I love the teal and chartreuse colors on this one.

Bonus Stickers

Well, wouldn’t you know it, they sent stickers that match all of the cards this month! This sticker sheet is a bonus for anyone who signed up before 6/16 (or was already a subscriber). From “Thanks, Lady” to “Congratulations” to “Happy Birthday”, Happy Mail has got you covered with the envelope flair as well. So simple. So cute.

And if those stickers aren’t enough, there’s some light blue washi tape to decorate or seal the envelopes or wrap an accompanying gift. You could also use this to post up the print on your wall!

The front of this card illustrates all of the wrapped gifts we all should receive each year on our birthdays, while the inside sings us a familiar song. They’ve left one crucial part blank for the sender to fill in though. 😉

Sometimes one happy isn’t enough. This one is for someone who deserves four times the happy on their anniversary of being born! The metallic foil on the word birthday makes it extra special too!

Thanks, Lady Card

The featured card this month is from Lana Red Studio. Without my girlfriends, I’d be hecka lost in this world, so a card that gives them a “thanks” can help me vocalize how much I love them. The front features the back of a braided-haired woman wearing a heart shirt among large green palm leaves that looks like it’s been crafted from cut-out paper. The inside continues the palm leaf design and exclaims “Thanks, Lady!”.

Though this one is blank on the inside, the cute photo of succulents from overhead makes me think it’d make the perfect housewarming card. Even though I have a hard time keeping plants alive, I’d love to receive a card this cute.

You Made My Day! Card

Even with all the horrible things that happen in the world, people are still doing amazing things for each other every day and it’s a good idea to recognize that to keep things positive! After all, this subscription is called Happy Mail, right? The little pink and mustard colored rainbows on the front of this card surround the words “You Made My Day!” so that you can send some cheer to someone who did you a kindness.

Wishing You All Of The Luck Card

Whether your friend or loved one is moving, starting a new job, or embarking on a special journey of their own, this card is there to cheer them on. I like that it doesn’t stop at just wishing all of the luck in the world, but also in the universe. Good thing! The inside just reinsures the receiver that they do indeed “got this”.

congratulations to you two card

Congratulations to You Two! Card

Is it wedding season right now? I think so, but luckily I’m kinda old now so most of my friends that were gonna do have already done it. Finally, my wallet gets a break (until all of those babies… sheesh). This card is super duper classy with its rich navy background and gold foil lettering that serves a big old “Congratulations to you two!”.

Verdict: Happy Mail has once again delivered a package full of greeting card joy, complete with stickers and decorative washi tape. For $27.00, I received seven cards, a postcard, a print, a sheet of stickers, and washi tape. The best part is that everything matches and compliments one another as well as covers a wide variety of occasions.

To Wrap Up:

Can you still get this box if you sign up today? This one is gone, but there’s a waitlist so you can sign up now to get notified about July’s box!

Value Breakdown: At $27.00 for this box, you’re paying only $2.54 per item (or $2.80 without the bonus item).
